The flush design keeps the crossbars tight to the roofline for a sleek, from-the-factory style. Nothing sticks out past the feet, so the rack looks clean and blends in with your vehicle’s shape. The Thule WingBar Edge Roof Rack gives you that finished look instead of bulky bars hanging out in the wind.
Wind noise can get old fast on long drives. These aero-style crossbars are shaped to cut through the air and reduce drag. The split rubber strips in the top channels help quiet vibration and whistling while you’re on the highway, so you can focus on the road instead of the hum overhead.
Whether it’s kayaks in summer or skis in winter, these bars can handle it. They work with both channel-mount and clamp-on accessories, giving you plenty of flexibility for your setup. Cargo boxes, bike racks, and watersport carriers all mount easily thanks to the versatile top channel design.
Some roof racks make you trim rubber strips before you can install your gear. These don’t. The split strip design lets you slide accessories right into the channels—no cutting required. Once mounted, the strips close back up around the hardware to help keep out wind and weather.
The aluminum construction gives you a sturdy setup that’s ready for serious hauling—up to 165 lbs, within your vehicle’s load limit. The two crossbars measure 34" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall and 37-1/2" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall, providing solid support for carriers and cargo boxes. It’s a dependable build that stays strong trip after trip.

I agree with you that the rack should include the keys however Thule only offers the one lock system separately as part # TH450400 for a 4 pack. They do it this way so that if you have other Thule accessories like a Thule kayak or bike carrier then you can have the option of ordering enough keys to swap them all out to key them the same. For example you can also buy a six part part # TH450600 or an eight pack like part # TH450800.
