My trailer hitch tried to get out of the box during shipping. Luckily everything was still in the box when I received it.
This is my second etrailer hitch. I’m very happy with them. I did the install alone. Better to have a friend help. I was able to install it without having to lift it off the ground. It probably would have been easier if I had put it on jack stands. I’m not a mechanic, but I decent around tools. You don’t need to be an expert to install this.
First time installing hitch myself. Totally worth it! Video made it super easy to follow along and the process overall is fairly easy. Would advise a lift or ramp to create more clearance under the car/suv but still able to complete, without one.
This Item is a very capable Hitch Receiver.

This hitch bolted on to our Jeep Patriot with no problems or need to alter in any way. We attached a bike rack heavy enough for our two ebikes and hauled them from Illinois to Florida. Then we removed the bike rack and backed up to our 8 foot box trailer full of stuff to move it around the yard so we could mow under it. You would never even know anything was attached to the car.
I would highly recommend this hitch to anyone who owns a jeep Patriot. It is a perfect fit.

I havent had much need for it except to keep moving the trailer around to mow. The hitch still look like new. No rust.

I installed this hitch on my 2017 Jeep Compass. Followed the instructions and video , i did remove the nuts and dropped the charcoal canister ( it made it easier to install the drivers side bolts). I like the one piece construction and the black finish looks great. I use a cargo carrier and utility trailer.

Still completely satisfied . The finish sill looks good no rust or pealing
Fits as advertised. Couldn't get the muffler to come down but three of us got it into position. It bolted on properly. Noah was a big help in putting the complete order. Bike rack is on back order but I'm looking forward to it and the pin lock coming in the mail soon.

Pin lock useless, no size available. You’ll have to bolt it securely to the hitch receiver and hope it deters thieves from stealing everything. you’ll need to have bike locks if don’t want a thief taking them off your rack.
Easy install when you remove most of the plastic under the rear bumper. What out for the black box for emissions.
USA made product. Fit well, no modifications needed. Images of the installation process attached.

Pretty straightforward install. Great video on how to install and what to remove. Said 3-5 day shipping. Arrived next day! Highly recommended. Installed on a 15 Jeep Patriot.
The product I purchased will be very useful with my my bike rack, to which I have needed to use for a long time, instead of trying to fit my bikes in the back of my Jeep; risking damage to them. Thank you so much for sending such a great product in such a timely manner.

Excellent quality. For a 73 year old guy with a brain injury and Parkinsons, it took me a little longer considering I was working in my driveway in 35 degree weather and off and on rain showers. However, it fit my Jeep perfectly, just as advertised. As soon as I finished the installation, i hooked up my boat and took a test drive, it worked great!
Package was only delivered this afternoon. Have not opened yet. Box has been damaged so I do not know if nuts, bolts and washers are in it. I hope all is there. Can not wait to get it on my vehicle.

Great service, price, and the video on installation was wonderful.
Previously watching the instructional video was a great help.
Fitment only required an hour. (I am a mechanic myself) and the only thing modified was the square I had to cut as per instructions. It is SOLID!
My Jeep Patriot now has a place to put a recumbent bicycle rack.
1 hour 45 minute install by myself nice kit cant wait to go fishing!!!!
Fit perfectly on existing mounting holes. Had to do a very minor trim on the rear panel. You do need to remove the rear panel on the Jeep Patriot to install but, it's not hard at all. Very happy overall as I am always with eTrailer.

After one year, this trailer hitch continues to satisfy! No problems. I carry our e-bikes and pull a trailer without issue.
