Video Transcript for Install: Inno Aero Crossbars on a 2022 Kia Carnival

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today will be taking a look at our Inno roof rack system with the Inno flush feet, as well as a 45 inch long crossbars right here on our 2022 Kia Carnival. Your Kia Carnival can carry a lot of people and a lot of cargo. But sometimes there's the things that you don't want or can't fit inside that spacious cargo space. And that's gonna be things like a roof bike rack or kayaks or roof boxes or roof baskets. So what you need then is a roof rack system like this.

This is gonna be the Inno flush roof rack system. So notice how we don't have overhang. This is gonna be the design if you want the low profile look, almost factory look, but it doesn't stick out, but it's there when you need it. I personally prefer the system that has overhang just because our vehicle is tall and then it's easier to reach onto our roof and put items or accessories or cargo on there. But depending on your situation, depending on your adventures, this might be ideal for you.

So let's take a look at some of the dimensions, some of the specs that you can make the correct decision for your adventures. So the first thing is gonna be roof clearance. So depending on your accessories you wanna make sure that your clamps can fit around your bars. So from the top of our roof, where we have those ridges to the bottom of the crossbar, we have a clearance of two and a half inches, which is actually really good that way when you do have those boxes with extra large clamps you're gonna have the clearance there. Now for the height added to the top of our roof it's gonna be about three and three quarter inches and that's gonna be where your cargo sits.

So if you're carry skis, snowboards you want a little extra clearance for those large bindings. This does not have overhang. So if you are gonna be clamping onto the T track system your usable cargo space or usable bar space is gonna be about 44 inches on path. Now in between the towers you're gonna have a usable space of 38 inches. So that's how far apart your accessories that have clamps can sit.

So not as much as a roof rack with overhang but still a good amount of space. These are the Inno arrow crossbar. So notice how they have this aerodynamic design where it's taller in the front and it tapers towards the end. So this is definitely an upgrade compared to your more traditional square or round crossbars which work great, but they could be noisy and they have a lot of wind drag, especially when you go down the highway. This helps reduce that with its unique shape. But what I really like about the arrow crossbars is the T track system. To access the system, you actually have to unlock the roof rack. And now you just push down on that rubber strip on the middle and then you can slide your accessory through. This is nice because compared to other roof racks like Rhino racks, where you have to cut the vortex strips around your accessory, this just fits around it, easy to use. Notice how I unlocked that tower, well all four towers have their lock core there. And then you get two keys, which matches the whole system. That way you just use this, and then you can secure both your crossbars and your roof rack. This utilizes a lever which is integrated with your tower. That way you don't need to use any extra tools, any extra wrenches or sockets, very easy to install. It does have a strap that goes around your race rails. And it is nice to see how it's conformed around the race rails making it look nice and neat, and it fits well. So let's take a look at that quick and easy install process. So I'm gonna guide you through the process of installing your roof rack, in fact, I already installed the rear crossbars so that we can install the front crossbars together. So you're gonna push this tray all the way in. So you are gonna have to press down that button and then keep going until this tray is open. Then you have tabs on your tower. Those tabs are gonna fit right into that tray. And you're just gonna push the towers all the way to the end. And then once that's done, just like that you can put this onto your roof since you have raised rails it should be very easy. You get to choose where you want your roof rack system. But what I did just to give you a baseline is I have my rear crossbar about a foot away from that end of the raised rail. And then for my crossbar spread, I chose 26 inches apart double check with whatever accessory you have for what's the correct cross spread, crossbar spread you need. That's to be measured from center to center, line that up on each side. Remember to put that strap firmly into the tab and make sure it's there as you tighten that down. And then your final step once all four towers are securely tightened down is you have your locking end cap. So make sure you have the right and the left end cap on the proper tower. Both should just slide right in. If they're in the unlock position, tighten that down your end caps now don't come off and that's it. You're ready to hit the road. And that was a look right here at our Inno roof rack system with the Inno flush feet for raised rails and the 45 inch long crossbars here on our 2022 Kia carnival..

  • Will Clamps of Inno Aero Bar Roof Rack Scratch Paint on Vehicle Roof
The Inno aero bar roof rack that fits your 2015 Lexus CT 200h uses fit kit # INK233 that clamps on to the underside of your door jambs. This metal clamp does not have padding but the system does include four pads for the bottoms of the four feet to provide a cushioned surface to protect your paint. This component is used along with the bars # INXB93-2 and foot pack # INXS200 to complete the rack. All racks for your car use this same clamping type of mounting method. When any accessory...

  • How to Transport a Kayak with a Towed 2010 Mini Cooper
The best way for you to carry a kayak with your towed 2010 Mini Cooper is with a roof rack and an attached kayak carrier. This will allow you to utilize the towed vehicle rather than trying to work around it. One of the main attractions of a Mini Cooper is it's low profile. Keeping that in mind, we have a great combination of roof rack and carrier that will keep that low profile when the kayak is not attached. The roof rack is the Inno Roof Rack kit using the Aero Crossbars, part # INXB93-2....

Yes Nathan it would be possible, and you could use the Custom Fit Kit for Inno XS300, XS350, XS400, XS450, INTR, and INXR Roof Rack Feet # INTR142, Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars # INXS400, and the Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB93-2 you're looking at. From here you can use a SUP carrier like the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH811XT which can carry up to 2 SUPs that are 34" wide.

Since you have the naked roof without the raised side rails, I recommend first adding the etrailer Raised Side Rails for Roof Rack - Black Powder Coated Steel # E99033 confirmed to fit your van. Then I recommend using the Inno Crossbars # INXB145-153 and Flush Feet # INXS100. The SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black, part # SR7018, will not attach to the raised rails of your 2021 Subaru Forester. Most rooftop cargo boxes are designed to attach to roof rack, the roof rack will attach to your raised rails. I recommend you get something like the Inno Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 39" Long and 42" Long - Qty 2, part # INXB100-108, and the Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars - Raised Side Rails - Qty 4, part # INXS100. • Recommended Low Profile Roof Rack For 2019 Mini Countryman With Sunroof
I do have a couple of options for the 2019 Mini Countryman with sunroof. The Rola that you were looking at only fits the 2007 to 2010 BMW X5. Both options I recommend below do fit with a sun roof but it is recommended to keep the sunroof closed when carrying accessories. The roof could interfere with accessories on the bar and it also creates a lot of wind noise. If you prefer the bars to be flush with the feet like the Rola rack, I recommend the Inno Aero Crossbars part # INXB100-2 with...

These crossbars meet the requirements for the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 Cubic Ft - Black # Y86FR so it will be a nice setup for you. The Replacement Universal Change Key # 59321 is designed to only remove and install unlocked lock cores so it unfortunately will not unlock a locked core, plus it isn't compatible with the "R" series of Rola cores. Your best best to continue using that roof rack is to have a locksmith create a new key for you since the Rola line of products has been discontinued. Yes, there is a flush roof rack available for the 2018 Audi A4 Allroad. The Inno Roof Rack part # INXB100-108 aluminum black bars and Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars part # INXS100 is a roof rack that has flush feet so the bars go inside the feet instead of through them. • Best Value Roof Rack For 2019 Ford Flex With Raised Rails
I do have a great option for your 2019 Ford Flex but the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack part # SR1098 is not a fit for the Flex. SportRack does not make a roof rack for the 2019 Ford Flex at this time. I recommend to use an Aero bar system on the 2019 Ford Flex because square bars can create a lot of wind noise unless you use a wind fairing. The cost of a wind fairing on top of the cost of a square bar system will put you over or at the price of a quality Aero bar roof rack. The best...

The factory bars are too far apart when installed, and a little too wide to use safely with the Skybox NX 16.
