what options do you have for a 2019 mini countryman with a sun roof/moon roof? It has the factory side rails. thx

I do have a couple of options for the 2019 Mini Countryman with sunroof. The Rola that you were looking at only fits the 2007 to 2010 BMW X5. Both options I recommend below do fit with a sun roof but it is recommended to keep the sunroof closed when carrying accessories. The roof could interfere with accessories on the bar and it also creates a lot of wind noise.

If you prefer the bars to be flush with the feet like the Rola rack, I recommend the Inno Aero Crossbars part # INXB100-2 with the feet part # INXS100. The bars go into the feet and do not have overhang just like the Rola Sport Series that you looked at. It is a nice low profile design and the most cost effective option with flush feet for the Countryman. I have attached a photo for your reference.

I also recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG215 which comes all in one piece. You simply clamp the feet to the side rails and tighten it down with the included tool so it does install like the Rola bars you looked at. The bars are not as low profile and do stick out instead of being flush with the feet like the Inno option I recommended. However, you will want the overhang if you are using the roof rack for a kayak carrier with a side loading assist feature. This is a more cost effective option compared to the Inno rack but does not have the style of the flush bar design. I have attached a photo of this rack for your reference as well.
