Will Clamps of Inno Aero Bar Roof Rack Scratch Paint on Vehicle Roof

Would the custom-fit clamps scratch the doorjam area? Are there thin paddings on the inner side of the clamps?

The Inno aero bar roof rack that fits your 2015 Lexus CT 200h uses fit kit # INK233 that clamps on to the underside of your door jambs. This metal clamp does not have padding but the system does include four pads for the bottoms of the four feet to provide a cushioned surface to protect your paint. This component is used along with the bars # INXB93-2 and foot pack # INXS200 to complete the rack. All racks for your car use this same clamping type of mounting method.
When any accessory item - roof rack, kayak carrier or bike rack - is installed we recommend ensuring that all mating surfaces are very clean and free of dirt and grit than can cause scratches.
This goes a long way toward protecting the appearance of your new Lexus.
