Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K-Source replacement side view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for either the driver side or passenger side factory mirror on your 1984 through 1993 Dodge van. This is modeled after the Dodge's original look and fit. So, you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror.
It should blend right in with your Dodge and look like it came with the vehicle from the factory. Because it does have the same footprint as the original mirror, it's gonna be very easy to get installed. You're not gonna have to worry about doing any sort of drilling or any modifications like that. So, basically, as simple as removing the original, putting this one in its place. They do include instructions and hardware for you to get this mounted in place.
So, should be a very simple way of gaining that functionality of your side view mirror again, whether it's on the driver side or the passenger side. This does have a durable plastic housing with this chrome finish. So again, it is gonna look really nice. Should blend in if your original had that chrome finish. Shouldn't be able to tell much difference at all.
Does have the manual mirror face adjustment, so you can get the right view and angle for your height and setup in your vehicle. This does have an OE-grade quality to it, so it's gonna be the same quality as the original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it's gonna give you a nice, clear image. And it is a flat lens, so you're gonna get a true representation of the object size behind you. So, you can tell how far away a vehicle is before you change lanes or backup, that sort of thing.
It also has a breakaway design. So, it's gonna fold in on itself to help reduce the chance of breakage, help absorb the impact if you we're to run into a parking post, or the side of your garage, or something like that. It's gonna fold it in to help absorb some of that impact. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So, if you're going through your owner's manual, or when you remove that original mirror, if you see that number anywhere in there, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need. This replacement mirror fit like a glove. It looks just like the original mirror that came with my 2500. Etrailer always have good quality items and I always go to them first before I buy anything to see if they carry it.
Really sturdy and heavy duty, had to move my tire for install but not relocate it on my 96 f250. Took me a little over an hour, had pre existing holes so I only had to drill two of them out.
I have previously bought these mirrors to replace my stock mirrors, only thing I noticed was only one hole lined up and the other had to be drilled out. And the hardware to bolt on I believe should be more chrome and a different style but otherwise that the mirrors are perfect and look amazing on the truck.

The mirror is not an exact replacement. The mirror support is made of thinner aluminum, overall quality not ad good as the original. The overall size is smaller, so the mirror sits lower and closer than the original on my 1993 F150. However, the mounting bracket spacing is correct, so I didn’t have to drill holes in the truck door.
Second time I have made a purchase from etrailer I bought a headache rack which has been great, recently had a side mirror broken so I had bought two to replace them and some steps for my truck very fast shipping even giving the situation of the covid-19. All in all just a top-notch experience, great products great service great communication I don't have a single complain
Excellent Packaging, Great fit on to a 2003 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. The OEM mirrors had no ability to collapse for fitting into narrow spaces or while parked, these bring that necessity to the truck along with almost 1/3 larger height (more mirror!). Total width seems to be the same from the OEM. One BIG note, these mirrors do not offer use of the interior manual adjustment arm as the OEMs do; so you'll have to adjust the mirror by physically manipulating the mirror surface. Still these are a good deal and function well once installed and adjusted. GOod luck finding a better option for a Gen 1 Tacoma!

It was a perfect fit for the discontinued Toyota part 87940-89147 for my 1994 Toyota pickup. It was very easy to install, maybe taking 30 minutes to take the old one off and install the new one. Thanks!
