Vibration from the road over the years had caused it to wear enough to prevent it from properly sealing. The "O" ring built into the replacement resolved the issue and returned the safe use of the propane system.
Worked perfectly, allows me to attach other propane fittings with ease. Quality made as well

Love the "o" ring! No yellow tape needed to create a leak-proof seal. Only negative was brass shavings all over the inside. I used brake cleaner to remove them.
When I install my new gas regulator this will be installed at that time. Looks like it is well made.
Works as advertised.

After a year it’s working great. No leaks and very easy to attach to the tank.
Looks like everything it should be, all solid brass, fully machined, ready to go.
