Question:
I need to get a cargo platform because im trying to fit a push lawnmower. Im starting a small lawn biz and I dont want to buy a trailer and huge mower just yet. So I was thinking I could strap on the mower. Do you think that would work?

The Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # PS1040100, will fit on a 2-inch hitch receiver and has a weight capacity of 400 lbs. It has usable platform dimensions of 47-3/4 inches long x 31-3/4 inches wide x 2-3/4 inches deep. A standard push lawnmower should be within those guidelines. I would recommend to measure your lawnmower to make sure.
As long as your vehicle has a 2-inch hitch receiver, and the lawnmower is within the dimensions mentioned above you should be able to use the # PS1040100 cargo carrier to transport a standard size push lawnmower. I am including a link to a video review on the Pro Series cargo carrier that will show a push lawnmower being hauled on the cargo carrier.
To hold down your lawnmower I would recommend some ratchet strap tie downs like the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps, part # EM34415. These will attach to the side of the cargo carrier and allow you to tighten the straps using the ratcheting handle.
