Attaching Ratchet Straps to a Thule AeroBar Roof Rack on a 2017 Honda Pilot

Hi, I have a Thule Aero rack. Can I attach EM34415 by looping the hok around the bar and hooking the web?

I went to our warehouse and measured the webbing loop of the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps, part # EM34415 . In this case, you won't be able to get them around the bar. they measure only 2-3/4 inches in length and won't make it around the 3-1/4 inch diameter aeroblades.

Your best bet is something like a Ratchet Grab Tie-Down, part # RRSRG that mounts into the C-Channel of your crossbars and allows you to connect to the bar itself or to an installable Eye-bolt, part # S604. I test fit these in our warehouse, and although the hex nuts that are installed to the bars are tight, it rides nicely in the Thule Aeroblade.
