Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your vehicle. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the rear axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.
Features:
Specs:
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its rear axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Ratings & Reviews
I had my local Ford dealer install the Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar along with Sumo Springs. They have really changed the handling characteristics of my gas powered Allegro 36LA. I now enjoy driving the RV along with the ride we get. The RV hardly moves when a semi passes and I can steer with one hand in light crosswinds. I would really recommend this set up for other gas drivers.
This is a great product! We installed this additional sway bar along with the Roadmaster front end replacement sway bar at the same time, so we don't know which made the most difference. Together they substantially improved the stability and ride on our 2014 F53 chassis. Looking back, I wish I had made these improvements years earlier. If we upgrade to a newer F53 based motorhome, these will be an automatic upgrade.
My 2019 NewMar Bay Star is a well made class A built on a standard Ford F53 22,000 lb chassis. While the larger tires help with the ride compared to my old E450 Class C, passing traffic and turns caused significant swaying like a yacht on the ocean. After researching various suspension components, I chose to start with the rear anti-sway bar and had experience installing one on my previous Class C. etrailer almost always has the best pricing, so I purchased the RM-1139-149. Ordering was easy and it arrived quickly. I had my mechanic install it and he charged me 2 hours of labor. I took the RV on a road test making various turns across uneven surfaces and a 20 mile trip on the freeway. The improvement was significant; the majority of the rocking was gone and the wind effects were minimized. This will definitely help with driver fatigue. Highly recommended upgrade. Next, I'll be doing Sumo springs for my Class A.
After installing Sumo springs, Bilstein shocks and steering stabilizer I still felt there was more I could do. I installed the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar. The result of adding this last upgrade of the suspension was icing on the cake. My coach now drives as good as my last RV which was a diesel pusher. I believe all of the upgrades came from etrailer. 2012 Tiffin Allegro Ford F53 chassis
I installed the Rear sway bar, Front sway bar, the steering shock and also installed a trac-bar on the rear end of a 24000 GVW class A hoping to stop the white knuckle rides. I noticed a difference in the handling right away. I recently took a 1000 mile trip from PA to Florida (it was my first trip since the upgrades) I'm glad I made the decision to do so. I drove the first day for 16 hours, I was tired but not exhausted. Stayed over night in a rest stop and got up the next morning and drove two hours to my destination. It doesn't completely stop the sway and the wind blowing you around but it puts a damper on it enough that your not tense the whole trip. You still feel the gusts of wind and trucks passing you but at least you stay in your lane now. The MPH has a lot to do with it. At 65 and below there is a huge difference. I like to run the speed limit or a couple clicks over, which on most interstates the limit is 70, That's when I noticed the same characteristics start to show up as the stock chassis set up. It's still an improvement over stock and again I'm glad I decided to spend the money for the upgrades.
Both sway bars made an incredible difference in the handling of my Winnebago Vista 27N. I also purchased a steering stabilizer and no longer have to fight my steering wheel to stay on the road. I am literally able to drive with just a couple fingers on the wheel.
The rear stabilizer wasn’t the correct one for my Vista, cause I ordered one for 22,000 pounds, and it didn’t quite fit properly until I made a couple modifications.
I did have to order the extended u bolts for the rear axel as well, and the hardest thing for me was removing and reinstalling the nuts on the u bolts.
Overall I’m thrilled, makes driving much more pleasurable.
This Sway bar is a must add on if you own a motor home. I have a Tiffin 32sa and it handled better compared to most models that I have test driven but I wanted a better ride. I added this and a new rear sway bar system and the ride is like night and day. We also have the factory Sumo springs which is a plus as well. No more rolling into the turns. I also added a steering shock damper. No more drifting. All in all it was worth the money and saves on driving fatigue when on long trips. I highly recommend all items mentioned.
After owning an Allegro Openroad 32CA 2012 (3rd owner) for a few months we decided to buy the anti-sway bar to improve the driving stability of the RV. Very good service and good pricing from etrailer. I installed the anti-sway bar my self (not that complicated - just follow the video provided on etrailer website).
We have also made the "cheap handling fix" on the front existing anti-sway bar and added a "Safe T Plus" steering control device.
We have been driving about 8-9000 miles since these modifications and the overall the stability improvement have been very significant.
Very happy with all the suspension parts I have received from them fast shipping . I will be ordering more from them in the future .
Roger at etrailer is THE MAN!! I called him because I needed to improve the ride & handling of my RV because she would sway all over the road, especially at highway speeds. Any tractor trailer would suck us into its 'air wake' when passing us. Roger offered me the options of heavy duty front & rear sway bars....heavy duty steering stabilizer....and Sumo Springs front & rear. WOW!! What an incredible difference!! The Coach 'rides on rails' now!! Highly recommend this company & Roger's expertise to anyone reading this!!
I love the results of the sway bar. The results were immediate. It was much harder to install than the videos depicted and I had to take my motorhome to a tire store to torque to spec. Knowing that, I would buy again.
Received parts faster then I expected, and I saved money on it. I can't wait to install the Road Master rear anti sway bar

I am completely satisfied with Etrailer and Road master. currently lookingfbor battery watering sys for coach batteries, 4-6v interstate GC batteries
I am happy to finally have the rear anti-sway bar installed. Noticed the difference right away. I will order the front anti-sway bar soon. I have the skills to install the anti-sway bar, but did not have the heavy tools to do the job. Paided a local shop 2hrs labour, well worth it.

Installed the front anti say bar as well last summer. Very happy with the upgrades for our 1600 mile drive to Orlando. This summer will install the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer to finish our upgrades, Thank E-Trailer for the support. Brian
Got delivery in a timely manner. All items were as advertised and installation hardware was complete.
The Sumo Springs and heavy duty sway bars made a SIGNIFICANT difference in the ride and handling.
Would have no problem ordering from this company again. They were also very helpful and patient on the phone.
The Roadmaster products are great. They fit as advertised and etrailer's videos are very helpful for installing. I would recommend you supply the grease in a small tube or other container. Both of my sway bar hardware kits had grease smeared all over the inside as the plastic grease container was crushed.
I would highly recommend suggesting or requiring the inclusion of new U-Bolts when buying the rear sway bar or steering stabilizer. My Fleetwood Bounder started its life in Ohio before I brought it to California, and unfortunately there's considerable rust on the suspension components. Removing the U-Bolts was extremely difficult (applied rust penetrant and heat to break the nuts loose). I'm contemplating replacing the U-Bolts to ensure their structural integrity.
It survived the Alaskan (AlCan) highway in the summer of 2025!
After installation there was a remarkably difference in how my Mirada Select 37TB handled. It’s close to 40’ with gas powered engine. Ford F53 chassis with V10. I will install front after feeling the improvement from the rear installation. Everything I needed was in the kit. The only hard part was cleaning up the threads on the existing u-bolts before removing. Highly recommend the upgraded, world of difference in my situation.
I am having it installed as I am writing this. It should be fine , I trust in these products.
First, Eric was a great help throughout the purchasing and installation. I watched the tutorial numerous times and set up my tools. I bought a 3/4 inch torque wrench at Harbor Freight and a 4 ft galvanized pipe at Home Depot. I followed the instructions and the tutorial to the letter. The bar and mounting plates are heavy, so be very careful. This job isn't for a beginner, but if you are somewhat mechanically inclined, you can install it. The 300 Ft. Lbs torque of the 8 nuts took everything out of me. LOL...I adjusted the end links twice, and it leveled out great. Now, I will do a test run and see how it improves the handling of my motorhome. Its a 2022 Entegra Vision 29S.
Purchased Roadmaster front & rear anti-sway Bar and a Reflex steering stabilizer for a 2019 Winnebago Vista 27N. Heidi, etrailer.com customer representative, was extremely helpful assisting me with the order. Products were delivered in three days. The difference in which the RV rides with anti-sway bars and stabilizer installed is incredible. Much smoother ride with very little rocking. The RV is a lot easier to control when taking a turn. High winds and passing 18 wheelers are no longer an issue. The RV stays on course with very little effort on my part. Highly recommend these products for any RV no matter the size and a shot out to etrailer.com for their outstanding customer support attitude.
Made a Huge Difference on my Fleetwood Class A Motorhome. No more tail wagging and much easier driving in heavy winds. I should have had it installed sooner.
I purchased this part because of the rocking on my 2011 Tiifen 34TGA built on the Ford F53 frame. After searching I found this on etrailer and I have to say the video and customer support from etrailer is outstanding. The part came quickly. The install is straight forward as the video shows but be prepared for some hard work. Getting the bolts off the frame after years on the road requires a lot of muscle, my 12 gal compressor and Harbor Freight air wrench was not upto the task. You will need a torque wrench that goes upto the 300 ft/lbs required for the plate install. We had to use our legs to get to 300.
After installing I took a long test drive and the difference in handling is amazing. Much less rocking and more stable. I would recommend this anti-sway bar to anyone with this Ford frame.

After a year of use the product is still rock solid and keeping my unit from rockin and rollin on the highway and local roads. I still recommend this for your MH on a the Ford F53 chassis.
Amy was great to work with she made sure the parts I ordered were correct for my motorhome! she gets an A+ from me the delivery was smooth and was on my doorstep as promised! Just waiting for an installer to call me back
I bought a motorhome (2014) that only had 24k miles on it. Driving it home two hours was a nightmare and I quickly realized why it only had 24k miles on it! Had this upgraded antisway bar put on it as well as an upgraded front bar and it made a huge difference. It allowed me to make a 2500 mile trip to visit with a sick relative for 10 days!

This sway bar made a huge improvement in handling.
