Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the City Water Dish. This is going to allow you to replace the worn out or damaged valve on your RV. It does feature a lead-free brass valve in this durable metal housing. It's not plastic.
It is a sturdy metal there. Give you a few dimensions. Our outside diameter, we're looking at just over four and a half inches, right about four and five eighths of an inch. I'm going to get this pushed all the way to the edge there. Our cutout opening that we're going to need, it's going to be right about three and a half inches to get that seated in place.
Our dish depth when we have it pushed all the way up against there, we're looking at right about three quarters of an inch. And our valve depth. Try and get this flush here, it's right there about two and a half inches.This does have the half inch female pipe thread or FPT, so it should be very simple to get hooked up into your current water system. It's got the attached dust cap to make sure that no dirt or corrosion gets in there and can get into our lines. Just easily pop that on when we're not using it and we're hooked up.

I'm totally impressed. All metal what a huge difference compared to plastic city water from factory.
Perfect for replacing the brittle, sun baked, broken valves on my trailer. The metal flange should last much longer than the plastic originals.

The flange is large enough to cover up the opening of the unit it replaces and the metal is strong.
