The original cracked with an earlier than expected overnight freeze (17°) in Denver. With brass valves instead of plastic, the coupler assembly is sturdier, and the valves perform very smoothly. We replaced the hose with a longer stainless steel and a Fury showerhead to complete a nice upgrade. I highly recommend this item for inside or outside the trailer.
An outstanding brass compression valve product to replace the plastic exterior shower on my 2004 Motorhome. Outstanding value , ease of website, and delivery was expedient.
Excellent faucet! Really well made & extremely easy to install. We had ignored the leaks from the old faucet for months thinking it would be a major installation hassle, but should have used etrailer right away. This faucet is also much better looking, too! Highly recommended.
It is not what I wanted because the fitting it is too long and made of brass from back that cannot be cut or flared to fix, I am going to need a refund on this one
I originally bought a cheaper shower faucet from etrailer, but it was so unbelievably cheesy that I sent it back and bought this one. This has a brass valve body instead of plastic like the first one. I reversed the valve caps (hot and cold) so I could point the hose bib down which worked better for my setup. The valves are kind of rubbery feeling instead of a solid shutoff but it works.
Quality (brass) is there for the long haul, old school tech used (replaceable rubber washers) Much better than plastic faucets that last a few years and then become brittle and hard to turn handles. Very pleased!
Product is fine, shipping took way to long.
This was the only place I found this particular model.
Great quality looking part, I'm sure it'll go for 20 years.
It looks like you might be able to actually replace seals whenyouneed too.....maybe?
I'll get back on that.
Much improved replacement for out trailer shower controls. Installed easily and perfectly matched all connections and fittings. Nice to have metal connections instead of plastic. Good product.
Items were delivered in a timely manner HOWEVER an email with shipping information would've been great everyone I order from does this and is helpful for tracking your order........you're website provides bare bones information.
Only one I found that does have a metal wand attachment
Quick delivery. Fit perfectly and performs as advertised.
Replaced an all plastic fixture with this. Seems to be nicely made. Fit was perfect
I tried a cheaper plastic sink faucet with a D spud. It squirted water every time the spud was moved. So I bought this one which is solid brass. So now the shower has its own separate faucet, works great, no leaks.
It came quicker than expected and is great quality! Can't wait to get it installed
FYI, here's what I've learned about Faucet in RV's. Most look great. Many are mad entirely of Plastic. In the winter, when temperatures drop below freezing, that plastic Faucet will fail. But you won't know it's failed until you start hunting for the source of the water leaking from the shower/toilet area coming out under the trailer. When you remove the plastic Faucet from the Shower stall, and examine the hidden part of the fixture you'll see a plastic tube running between the hot and cold faucet. This is the water mixing tube. It's sealed on each end with an O-Ring. However, the plastic tube is now Split due to water freezing inside of the tube. There is the source of your leak. And that's why you might want to change out the Plastic Faucet for the above product. It's all metal and doesn't split when the water freezes.
The shower faucet assembly in the RV was shot and needed replacement. When I removed it I found the entire thing was plastic, junk. Nobody, I checked RV dealerships in 2 states, had or could find something made of good old brass. etrailer came to the rescue. Great customer service, products and on time delivery. Perfect.
I understand that the general standard for RV shower faucets is an all plastic unit. The threads on them can easily be stripped on installation creating a bigger problem than the one you started fixing initially. However, it is great find a faucet made by Phoenix, a 2-handle Rv Shower Valve W/ D-spud that actually has all brass fittings. It is about twice as much but well worth it! I was able to install it in about 5 minutes. Now my boat shower is working beautifully. Aesthetically it is fine but not as fancy as some. It is kind of a "no nonsense" faucet. Don't buy that plastic junk out there!!! Get this one.
Did the same upgrade on our previous trailer, so I'm already familiar with the Phoenix line of faucets. Solid brass body and brass valves make these much smoother and more durable than the usual RV all plastic stuff. No vacuum breaker, and positive shut-off so no dripping shower in the middle of the night. Haven't installed this particular one yet, but it's a simple job.
Great quality faucet! This replaced an all plastic faucet that was cheaply made and had cracked.
Excellent Faucet. I hunted everywhere to find a good faucet. All the others have the vacuum break restriction and most are now a 1/4 turn handle. The are cheap plastic & Junk.
This Faucet was expensive in comparison $75 as compared to $25.
However this Faucet is worth every penny. It is like a real home faucet, works perfect & has great pressure.
I recommend this Faucet & Etrailer!
Thanks Etrailer for great service & products.
We purchased a new travel trailer and found the non-metallic faucets that were installed to be unacceptable. After searching the usual spots for a replacement shower valve, I found this one on etrailer. It arrived promptly and we were very happy with the quality. It's not fancy but installation was a snap and it works great. Etrailer was easy to work with and I will definitely use them again for our RV needs.
The product was exactly as described, arrived in good condition, and looks very well built.
UPS had to swerve around lots of covers, I guess, because it took 2 days longer than I expected, but the packaging was in excellent condition.
I ordered this to replace the plastic one in my motorhome. This shower faucet is all metal.
This is the third faucet I’ve had in my tub. The first two were $30 all plastic construction which kept breaking where the shower hose attaches. This one is all metal construction and have had no more problems. Only issue was that they were out of stock and back ordered. Took way too long to get it. Hopefully that issue is now solved.
