The Spray-Port quick-connect hookup allows you to connect a quick-connect hose (PF267003 - sold separately) so that you can rinse gear, wash your boat or vehicle, extinguish your campfire, clean fish, and more. This eliminates the need for a bulky garden hose, which takes up a lot of space.
The quick-connect valve makes it easy to connect and disconnect the hose. This means that you don't have to take the time to open any valves or screw on a hose.
This unit is compatible with standard RV and marine plumbing systems. Mounting screws are included for bolt-on installation. Please note that you will have to cut through the sidewall and splice into the existing water system. Sealant, a Tee, and a 1/2" NPT fitting (sold separately) are required.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets Spray Away Quick Connect Valve. This product places a high pressure concentrated water spray within fast easy reach and yet requires very little space. It's great when it comes to rinsing off your gear, washing boats or vehicles, putting out the camp fire, and many other chores that those shower type sprayers can't handle. The exterior of the unit is white in color. The unit's going to feature solid brass connections. It's also going to feature an internal seal for leak proof performance. It's very easy to install in a small area.
The instillation does require cutting through the side wall of the RV or boat and splicing into the water system. You can easily splice into the water system by using a tee and a cold water line and attaching in the rear of the port using a half inch MPT fitting. It does come with installation instructions. They're very detailed. They walk you through the entire process step by step. It's going to come with your mounting hardware.
The unit attaches using 4 screws. It's got 4 mounting locations right here. The connector on the back is a standard half inch diameter male thread connector. That means it has an inner diameter of a half inch with an outer diameter from outside edge of one thread to the same point on the other side a 3/16 of an inch. Now your cut out is going to need to measure 2 and 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The area that's visible right here.
This is going to have a diameter measurement of around 3.5 inches to 3 and 5/8 right in that area. The overall depth of the unit measuring from very front to very back is going to be pretty close to 4 inches. Measuring from the back of that flange to the end of the unit is going to be about 3 and 3/4 of an inch. The mount holes on the unit, it's a square design. These are separated on center by 2 and 1/4 inches. Again your mounting hardware is included.
This is designed for use with a Spray Away Quick Connect Hose. That is sold separately but I did pull one just to show you how easily it connects. This is what the coiled hose would look like. The one on our website does come with the spray nozzle. It is available at etrailer.com. Basically all you have to do to get the hose connected is this is a quick connect fitting. The hose you just push it in and it snaps in and it's all set and ready to go. That's really all there is to it. When you're ready to disconnect it grab that housing, push down and it disconnects the hose. The lid does snap shut. That way it doesn't open when you're on the road during travel.
