Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this RV slide out rubber wiper seal. This is gonna be a great option if you are needing to replace a seal on your RV slide out. And this will do a great job of helping to keep the water out of your RV, so you don't have to worry about mold and mildew and those sorts of things from water that are getting in there. And this is designed for use in RVs with separately installed bulb seals. So it is gonna be compatible with the rubber bulb seal that you see on the screen there.
And so if your original has a bulb seal similar to that one, this will do a great job. It's gonna flex in and out depending on the direction the slide out is moving. It is made here in the USA of a dense EPDM rubber. That is gonna hold up to your weather. It's not gonna shrink, crack, or fade over time, and it is gonna resist UV damage as well.
So it is gonna be very durable and long lasting. Definitely a higher quality than the original factory seal. So it is going to do a great job for you. It'll be a a good upgrade. Looking at our dimensions, this is right at four inches tall, about 4 1/16 of an inch tall, and you are going to get 30 feet of this here.
As you can see, it's all wound up on itself there. So that should be plenty to wrap around your slide out. You can use scissors to trim any extra seal once you're getting it installed. And it is a very simple installation. We've got the pre-installed 3M adhesive backing here, so we just peel off that backing and apply the seal to the RV frame surrounding your slide out.
It is suggested to do a little bit of surface preparation to remove any old adhesive and that sort of thing. But very simple to just peel back that backing, get it stuck in place and you're ready to go. So it is gonna be a great option if you are needing to replace original seal and it's gonna be a very simple upgrade for you. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
