Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this rubber wiper seal for RV slide outs. This RV slide out seal is going to stop water and pests from getting into your living area. This is designed for use in RVs with separately installed bulb seals. Now, you can find those bulb seals that will work with this wiper seal under the related product section on this product page if you are also in need of replacing those bulb seals that will work with this wiper seal. Now, as you can see, this is going to be a peel and stick installation with the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. It's gonna be real simple to install this.
You're just going to remove the backing and apply the seal to the RV frame surrounding your slide out. Now, I will mention that surface preparation is recommended to remove any old adhesive and all you need to do is simply use scissors to trim the extra seal that you do not need. This is made here in the USA of EPDM dense rubber that won't shrink, crack or fade over time. And also, this is resistant to UV damage. Now, let me retrieve my ruler here and just go over the width.

Great product, fast shipping.
I bought these wiper seals for my cedar creek fifth wheel. After installation I tried to slide my slides in and they tried to cock from one done to the other and did not come in smoothly or completely. These are made out of a different type of rubber that is very stiff so they don’t fold into the slide while moving slide in. I am out the price of a 30’ roll and cannot return because I used part of it. Beware of Steele wiper seals

Wiper seal was a good product but did not work on my slide. The seal was too thick and would not fold under when retracting my slide. I had to discard it and go another direction
I used the wiper seal for the horizontal seal (top) on my slide out that is 13 ft long on my cedar creek fifth wheel.
The rubber is so stiff it won’t flex and move properly when the slide is brought in. It is supposed to fold into the slide when the room is brought in for travel and prevents the slide from tiltin in at the top. Because I installed this seal I cannot get my money back. Not very happy.
You sent us 2 seals were wrong but it was our fault. Then we just got the correct seal today and postal delivery was 14 days. Your accepting the wrong parts and returns went well. Now with warm weather we can proceed with the fix. Thanks for your help.
