Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Lippert Components, 2x3 and 3x3 standard slide-out gear pack. This is going to replace the gear pack for your Lippert Components through frame or above floor slide-out. So you can get your slide-out back and action, and it's going to provide reliable operations for years to come. This is already assembled in the orientation that you're going to need it. So when you're installing it, you'll just remove these pins, which are just there to keep everything together while we're shipping it to you.
And you can put your bolts through, it is going to work with your slide systems that utilize a 2x3 inch tubing slide arm. You're not going to have to do any of the other assembling. It's all put together already for you.This does have a 15 tooth gear included. If you need the 18th tooth gear, you can purchase that separately, using the part number that you see on the screen there. So depending on which model of slide-out Lippert Components.
Component you have, you might need that one instead but, should be pretty easy to tell once you take your old one off or just looking at it before you remove it. This is made here in the USA. So, that tells you the quality standards that this is held to, and it does come with a one-year limited warranty from Lippert. One of the nice things about this being a product directly from Lippert, you can trust that it's going to be compatible, with their slide-out systems. So you're not going to have to worry about gears landing up or anything like that.
These holes here, for our mounting plates, from center to center, they are right about 3/4 of an inch.Just to give you some extra peace of mind. If you're looking for the product that's going to work with yours, as long as yours has that three and quarter inch, and the 15 tooth gear, this should be the right product for you. These wheels are a rubber construction, so that's a bit of a notch in the negative category for this. There are some options out there that have metal wheels, which probably will hold up a little bit better for you. These are a nice, solid, hard plastic kind of rubber, so they should do a good job of allowing your slide-out to move freely.Just something to keep in mind, when you're looking at other options, is that something that some of the other options do have over this one, but all in all, I think they should do a great job for you.
