Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

Video Transcript for Review of SnapPad RV Jack Pads - 5-1/2 Inch Jack Foot - SN73FR

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com Today we take a look at this replacement pad for the SnapPad XTRA Square 5 jack pad system. This is for a quantity of one pad. Now this part will replace one pad on the SnapPad XTRA Square 5 jack pad system. This is a heavy duty rubber pad it's designed to snap onto your trailer's Level Up leveling jack foot pad to make leveling lock faster and easier. It also eliminates the need to have to crawl under your trailer to position any plastic pads or wood blocks to level your trailer.

This is designed to fit jacks that have a 5 to 5 inch square foot pad. Now with this pad installed the increased surface area of your leveling jack's foot pad provides additional support for your trailer. The diameter on this from one side to the other is about 8 inches. So once this is installed and goes into the ground it helps prevent sinking your foot from sinking into the soft ground unlike smaller metal feet. It is a durable heavy duty rubber, it's made from recycled tires.

And what's nice about it, it'll grip uneven terrain preventing the metal feet from rusting or bending. That'll also serve as a cushion, so the metal feet won't crack or chip your driveway. Plus it'll help to dampen vibration from inside the motor home that could cause shifting. Do you notice in the very middle has this built-in large hole here, it's a drain hole, and that'll help release moisture between the metal foot and the rubber pad to prevent your jack feet from corroding. It is a very simple one time installation.

All you need to do is line your pad up here beneath the jack foot, lower that foot until the pad goes in here and the lips on all four sides, engage and lock the pad into place. What's nice about this is once it's installed there's no need to remove and replace your pads every time or carry other jack pads or blocks around with you. These will just stay attached to the jack foot pad. This part is made in the USA. Again, this is for a quantity of one pad.

Weight on this pad is only about two pounds. And again, the application it's for travel trailers that have the Lippert Level Up leveling jacks. And again, with either the 5 inch to 5 inch square foot pad. But that should do it for the review on the replacement pad for the SnapPad XTRA Square 5 jack pad system..

The snap pads were easy to install and provide excellent weight distribution on hard and soft surfaces. These pads are designed to be permanently attached, avoiding taking up valuable storage space and having to climb under the vehicle during leveling. Of note: snap pads reduce ground clearance by 1 full inch, and caused dragging resulting in damage / losing the rear pads of steep curbs. Recommendation is to shave the rear pads by 1/2 inch to increase ground clearance (see photos).

The snap pads are great! They were easy to in stall, and and add stability. Great product. Everything we have bought for our RV at etrailer has been a quality product!

I installed the snap pads on my RV. I thought they were on OK got to the camp ground on first trip and one pad was gone. Checked and the other were not on fully. I ordered a new pad but have not tried to put them back on. The snap pads did not snap on even with Dawn...that was a year ago and I do not have a lot of confidence they will snap on when I lower my jacks. I have a concrete drive but the pads on my RV just did not snap in like they should. Snap pads worked fine on my Big Foot levelers on my last RV.

by:

Looks like a great product. I'll know more after the first trip with then on. Got to tell you they're a little tricky to install. Watched a couple of YouTube videos. The installation instructions say to use dish soap (Dawn) as a lubricant. Specifically says don't use silicone lubricants (WD-40). Had a little battle getting them on all the way. They would go on one side or the other, but not snapped in all the way around the foot of the jack. I ended up using a piece of 1/2" rebar under the pad on the side that wasn't all the way on. Put the jacks/pads down on the rebar and it popped the rest of the way on.

"I recently needed snap pads for my class A motorhome and had trouble finding the exact ones online. After searching extensively, I contacted etrailer and spoke with Kelsey. She was incredibly helpful, asking all the right questions to ensure I got the correct pads. Within a few days, I received the pads, which were extremely easy to install, taking less than 15 minutes. They look and work great. Thank you to etrailer and a special thank you to Kelsey for her excellent service!"

Definite addition to the upgrade that I made increasing from 9” landing jack feet to 12” landing jack feet on our diesel pusher motorhome. These 12” snap pads will allow me to distribute load better over soft ground and not punch holes in the gravel or soft sites. Plus if I need to add blocks under feet, there will be no worrying about movement of jack feet off of the blocks.

by:

One thing that would have been helpful when we received our original four snap pads would have been the tip of putting dish soap around the edge of the pad so as to easily snap into place. If this would have been present in the box we wouldn't have damaged the 1 pad that we were having a hard time getting on. My suggestion would be to have something written about the installation and using dish soap to glide on easily. Also there is a video on the snap pad site for installation. This would have been helpful to know.

by:

They are the best thing i bought for my 5th wheel trailer i just poured a little dish soap in them and lowered the legs and they snapped into place no more putting pads under legs just pull into camp site and level trailer without trying to line up pads each time.

by:

These Jack pads have been an excellent addition to my 5th wheel. Easy to put on and they do exactly what are designed to do.

by:

SnapPads are a convenient addition to my fifth wheel however the metal front pads hold water and if I remove the SnapPads to clean & preserve them, then the warranty is voided.

by:

Great little product. Love having the pad permanently attached to the jack. Worked perfectly at every campground we've been to for an entire season. Secure footing on any surface. Mounting was a snap, literally.

by:

These snap pads look heavy duty and should protect and cushion the rv stabilizer foot pads. These installed in a quick snap! Pardon the pun.

by:

I gave up using them because especially the back ones kept falling off. Because they are cushiony it makes the 9 inch metal jack feet bend upward around the edge/mushroom upward. And the snap pads fall off.I

by:

I had SnapPads on our Fifth Wheel and liked them, Ordered replacements for our MH after the Dealer installed ones fell off on the first trip. They did not work out either. Everyone said they were the correct one for our MH but they would not stay on. Not an E Trailer issue but a Manufacturer issue.

by:

They work awesome, but did have to take some time (couple hours min.) in tediously cutting and fitting of the rubber for the back jacks since our back jacks are octagon shape like the pads. So both being octagon shape, wouldn't allow the pad to just slip on even with dishsoap. However, the front pads slipped on easily since our front jacks are ciruclar shape.

by:

Snap Pads arrived quickly. Will be installing them this week. Looking forward to not crawling under the trailer. Friends have these and love them.

by:

The work fine and a great addition to my RVs I have them on my Pickup Camper and 5th wheel. My only nit to pick is I wish they a slight better water drainage and they are pricy for what the really are. Easy to install and recommend everyone would have them if the price was lower.

by:

Good quality product that fit perfectly on the psx1 stabilizer system. I dont have to climb under the camper anymore to set pads under the stabilizer feet. Make sure you measure what you have before purchasing.

by:

I’ve had a full season with my snap pads and they are holding up very well. Still like new. Makes the RV much more stable than without the pads. My only complaint with them and the reason for not 5 stars is that water collects on top of the RV foot from rain or washing the RV and the snap pad does not allow water to drain therefore causing water to just sit on top of pad and now I have slight surface rust on top of the RV foot. I still love them and would recommend. I will just add a little paint to the top of foot as needed.

by:

They are a great addition to an RV. It takes ALL the hassle out of leveling. No bending, no lifting, no nothing. Had them on my last RV, will put them on this one and highly recommend them to anyone that doesn't have them!!!

by:

Overall they work very well on a long trip of 5 stops! On our 6th stop we had found that one of the pads was missing! Not sure when or where it decided to depart ways with the trailer. Would be nice if I could pick up a single pad to replace the missing one!
