The D-spud outlet lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. To divert the flow of water to the shower set, simply lift the diverter pin on the faucet up.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today we're going to take a look at the Phoenix faucets Catalina RV tub and shower diverter faucet with the D-spud, dual lever handles and a nice brushed nickel finish. Now, this Catalina series tub and shower diverter faucet will let you upgrade the diverter faucet in your RV or camper. The D-spud outlet right here at the top, allows you to attach a hand held shower. We do sell the hand held shower separately on our website. Basically, when you have the shower handle attached, you can just lift this diverter pin up to activate the shower. It is a dual handle design, you can see, with the lever style handles. It is a quarter turn cartridge stem, which enables the faucet to fully turn on and off with a quarter of a turn.
It is a washer less design, so it does reduce friction and daily wear for long lasting durability. The whole faucet is a non metallic, ABS plastic construction. It does have spin welded cell-con thermoplastic underbody. It has a nice brushed nickel finish that provides a nice sleek look.It is a two hold installation, inlet shanks right here have the standard male, NPSM connections, and it has the standard four inch center to center measurement between the two shanks. It does include the deck plate, the two mounting nuts, and the rubber gaskets are all included for installation.
Now, it does require tile and tub caulk also, which is not included.Flow rate on this faucet is 2.5 gallons per minute and the last thing I want to do is give you some overall dimensions on this. So, overall with the handles in this position, we're going to be right at, from one tip of the handle to the other is right at nine and a half inches wide. The height on it, when we turn the handles down, we're going to be right at, to the very top here, three and three-quarter inches tall and the overall depth including the mounting base to the edge of the faucet, is going to be right at five inches deep. Now, the base itself, from this edge to this edge, is going to be right at six and a quarter inches wide. From the base is two and one-eighths inches tall and the D-spud itself is about three-quarters of an inch above the base. Spout length, just the spout to the top of the base is right at four inches for the spout length.
And then the inlet shanks, again, we mentioned the distance, four inches to center to center and the length on them, is going to be right at one and one half inches. But that should do it for the review on the Phoenix Faucets Catiline RV tub and shower diverter faucet with the D-spod, dual lever handles and the brushed nickel finish.
