Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets, 4 inch dual handle RV bathroom diverter faucet. This unit's going to add or replace a diverter faucet in your RV. It's a lead free design. It's going to feature the dual acrylic lever handles. Gives the unit a really nice look. That's going to feature a quarter turn design, very easy to operate.
They have the H and C on there, which is going to indicate hot and cold. Here on top we're going to have the D Spud outlet for attaching the handheld shower. The handheld shower is not included, those are sold separately and can be found here at etrailer.com. When you're ready to use the shower, all you have to do is lift up on the spout lift rod to divert water flow from the main spout to the shower head. The unit is designed to prevent water back flow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. It's made from a strong and durable plastic construction. It's going to feature a really nice looking chrome finish.
It does have a low flow aerator on it. That is this component right here, that's already installed. That's going to have a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute. The mounting area does require 2 holes for your installation. These connection points right here are the connections for the hot and cold water lines.
These are going to be separated on center by about 4 inches. They're going to have a length measurement of right around 2 inches long. They're going to give us an outer diameter of 13 1/16's of an inch, with an inner diameter of a half inch. Then that D Spud connection point, that's going to have an outer diameter of 13 1/16th's of an inch. We're going to take a few measurements, starting with just the base. That's going to give us a depth measurement of about 2 and 1/8th of an inch.
Measuring edge to edge, the unit's going to give us a length measurement of about 6 and 1/4 inches. If we take a height measurement from the mounting surface, we can see that that's going to give us a measurement of just over 3inches, maybe 3 and 1/8th, from the mounting surface to the tallest point of the unit. Measuring the overall depth from the back of the base to the furthest out point, we can see that's going to measure just over 5 inches, maybe 5 and 1/4 inches, right in that area. Then the water outlet height, measuring from the mounting surface. Measuring from this point right here, mounting surface to the closest point of the low flow aerator, that's going to give us a measurement of about an inch and a 1/4. Pretty simple installation. Again, it's going to require 2 mount holes. Those holes need to have a diameter of 1 inch, separated on center by 4 inches. It's going to come with that nice backing plate. That's a one piece design, and it's going to come with the threaded mounting nuts. It does include detailed installation instructions. These are designed to walk you through the installation process step by step. They've got nice detailed diagrams there to help you with that. On this side it's going to go over some operating instructions and some helpful hints. Then on the backside it's going to have a detailed breakdown of the parts list. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix Faucets 4 inch dual handle RV bathroom diverter faucet.
