To install, use the brass inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. Then assemble the shower head and install it onto your shower supply line. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Empire Faucets RV Tub and Shower Diverter Faucet with Shower Head. This is going to allow you to upgrade your faucet and assembly in your RV, camper or mobile home. And this is an abs plastic construction. So it is gonna be very lightweight and not gonna have to worry about rust and corrosion, that sort of thing. And it does have, have this chrome finish on it.
So it is going to look really nice for you. You can see, we do have the dual handle design with the crystal knob style handles. These are ADA compliant, so they are going to work for a wide range of ability levels. These are full turn cartridge stems that enable the faucet to turn on and off, allow you to get just the right balance of hot and cold for the perfect temperature water for your bath or shower. These do also have a washerless design.
That's going to reduce friction and daily wear for a much longer lasting durability for you. So it should hold up for a nice long time. You can see, we do have this, diverter pin right here in the front, and it's going to activate our shower. So when we lift that up, it's going to allow that water to flow up to our shower. And our shower is just a single spray pattern.
And so you won't be able to change it, but it will do its job of providing plenty of water for you. You can take this flange out for easy cleaning, just simply unscrew it like so. Although you only have the one spray pattern, you are going to be able to adjust the direction of the head to accommodate different heights and angles. This is going to be a wall mount. So, should be nice and flush with your wall there.
You can see, we are gonna have 3 of these shanks that are going to need to be in the wall. So it is going to be a 3 hole installation for our faucet here. Our 2 outside shanks are a brass construction, as well as the internal waterway connecting them. So it's gonna be a nice corrosion resistant option for you. The middle shank is a plastic construction, and that's what's going to connect up to your shower. All 3 are a standard half inch male MPSM. So should be very easy to get hooked up with your current system. The distance between these 2 outer shanks is 8 inches and that center shank there is right in between them. So 4 inches between each. You can see, we do also have the deck plate and mounting nuts here to get this mounted in place. They do recommend using some tile and tub caulk to get this finished off. So you don't have to worry about any water getting back behind there and potentially causing mold and that sort of thing behind your wall. So again, not included, but a good idea to add that on, to finish up your installation. This does come with a limited lifetime warranty. Metal body and brass piping components make this a major improvement over original equipment (plastic body and piping) in my modular home.
Product arrived in a reasonable number of days. The valve is all brass, no plastic. Seems to be of a quality build. Hopefully will last many years.
We retired and live in a 1980 double wide in Florida. The shower valve went out and we searched Heaven and Hell for a replacement of the correct size so we would not need to modify or re-pipe. But no luck, nothing would fit the water supply lines. Found etrailer by chance on a Google search, by lucky chance. Immediately found what we needed. Fast processing and shipping. Item arrived on time and it had a good online tracking system. This was a hard to find replacement for an old mobile home of my sisters. I haven’t installed it yet, but I believe it will work fine. I would like to know the replacement part numbers for the compression stem and seats for this Empire J228AF-E faucet assembly. It included a diagram and quantity of parts, but no part numbers. The part numbers would be a handy reference to have for future reference.

I have a Double Wide Home, I was looking for a Good Built Tub Faucet. This seems to be good so for, I have had No Issues with it.
After a Year the Screws looked in Good Shape.
I do wish that the outside of the Faust was made from metal and Not Plastic, would be Nice.
I keep a wash cloth in the shower to wipe off the excess water from faucet before getting out.
