Video Transcript for Review of Empire Faucets RV Faucets - Kitchen Faucet - EM47UR

Bobby Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Empire Faucets RV kitchen faucet with pull-down spout and dual teacup handles. Now this faucet's gonna allow us to quickly replace our older faucet in our RV without too much trouble with installation. It's made of a non-metallic ABS plastic, so we won't have to worry about corrosion, and it also utilizes a cartridge design. This is the standard residential style, allows us to quickly and easily fix any issues that we may have, and makes it very serviceable for the years to come. It's specifically designed for a three-hole installation.

So you will notice that plastic threading there at the bottom, that we'll have that half-inch fitting to allow us to quickly thread on our existing water supplies. And it does come with two nuts as well to go ahead and secure this to our counter. Now, the gooseneck spout gives us 360 degrees of revolution, which is plenty of room to turn for whichever side of the sink we need to use. And of course, in tandem with that pull-down spout, definitely gonna have no trouble at all having a versatile system to clean our dishes for ourselves. And we do get a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute, so we should have no trouble getting ample water pressure.

And at the top of the head, too, you are seeing a quick toggle switch to quickly switch between stream and spray options, just depending on what we need to actually clean our dishes. We can go ahead and start taking a look at some our dimensions here. For that overall width, with our handles fully extended, it is gonna be putting us, go ahead and give you guys a better angle there, is gonna be putting us right at 13 3/4 of an inch. While the overall plate width is gonna be putting us at 10 3/8 of an inch. The depth of this plate, to make sure we can cover all our holes is gonna be right at 2 1/2 inches for ourselves.

Kind of hard to see there for you guys, but it is gonna be right at 2 1/2 inches there overall depth. Now the height of our plate is gonna put us right at an inch and 1/4 of an inch while our overall height will be putting us at 16 1/2 inches. Now our spout length from center is gonna put us right at 9 1/2 inches for ourselves there, guys, right to the end of that head, so. Of course, this can be a great little solution of getting that old faucet out of your guys' RV. One thing I really like about it, too, this has a really nice cinch feature at the top here, so if you are traveling in your RV and you find yourself in that driver's seat, not too far from the kitchen, it can be really annoying to have any kind of rattling behind you.

What this guy does has a nice little cinch in here. It's gonna sit in there and it is gonna wobble just a little bit, but you're not gonna hear it at all. I can hear nothing like this with that slight vibration. And I like how it cinches in there and that way it's nice and tight and we don't have a headache as you drive. Well, guys, I think that that's gonna do it for our look here at the Empire Faucets RV kitchen faucet with pull-down spout and dual teacup handles here at etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, thank you for watching..

This is an inexpensive and nice faucet. This is the third one we have replaced due to the parts being plastic. But it's a better faucet than the one from the factory. Customer service is always excellent at etrailer!

Comments
Yes, the plastic is lighter for use in RVs but it can be damaged faster than regular metal faucets.

It's exactly what I expected based on description and price. It was easy to install, looks nice, and the sprayer works fairly well, given that water pressure isn't the best in most campers. It feels cheap, but it's not metal cuz, ya know, weight and campers. It's an improvement over the cheapy faucet that was in the camper already.

Ask the Experts about this Empire Faucets RV Faucets

  • How To Measure For A Replacement Faucet In A RV
To determine the correct replacement faucet, you'll need to see if you have a 2 hole or 3 hole set up. Next you'll want to measure the space between holes, this is only applicable with sinks that have a 3 hole or 4 hole configuration. Sinks generally come in one of three configurations: 6”, 8”, and 6”-16”. The faucet will cover the holes in most of these configurations. You will need to measure the width between the outer holes or estimate it by measuring the width of the deck plate. If...
