The D-spud outlet lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. To divert the flow of water to the shower set, simply lift the diverter pin on the faucet up.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today we are going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets 4" Dual Handle RV Tap Diverter faucet. This unit adds or replaces tub and shower diverter faucet in your RV. It's going to feature the dual white lever handles, that's going to give the unit a really nice look. Here on top it's going to have the D spud outlet for attaching a hand held shower. This D spud connector is designed to prevent water back flow, which is also going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. The base is made from a durable plastic construction.
The unit is going to be white in color. The mounting area does require 2 holes for your installation. These connectors right here for the hot and cold water lines, these are going to be separated apart from one another on center by about 4", and then they are going to give us a length measurement of about an 1 1/2" long. They are going to give us an outer diameter of around 13/16ths of an inch with an inner diameter of 1/2". Right here, again, you're going to have that D spud connector, this is your shower hose connector. That's going to have an outer diameter of 13/16ths of an inch.
Taking a look at the overall measurements, just measuring the base right here, we're looking at 2 1/8, the length that we have, from side to side, you can see that that's going to give us a measurement of about 6 1/8 to 6 1/4". Measuring from the back of the base to the furthest out point of the unit, we're looking at a measurement of about right around 5". Pretty simple installation, it's going to come with the threaded post right here. Again, these are the connection points for the hot and cold water lines. The knobs on the unit have the H and C on them, so that's going to indicate hot and cold, quarter turn design. It's also going to come with the plastic threaded mounting nuts.
It's going to come with the back in plate. The unit's going to come with your detailed installation instructions. Right here it's going to indicate that you need 2 holes for your installation. Those holes need to have a diameter of 1", and you're going to need a minimum of 2" above the floor rim of the tub, so it outlines that right there. Again, it just shows you how to make your connections, how to get the unit installed. On this side it's going to go over some operating instructions, some cautionary items and some helpful hints.
