Specs:
The D-spud outlet lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. To divert the flow of water to the shower set, simply lift the diverter pin on the faucet up.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix faucet's 4-inch, dual-handled RV tub, shower diverter faucet. The unit is going to add or replace a tub shower diverter faucet in your RV. It's going to feature the dual biscuit-colored lever handles. It gives the unit a really nice look. They're going to have the quarter-turn design, and they have the H and C to indicate Hot and Cold. Here, on top, you're going to have the D-split outlet for attaching a handheld shower.
Now, our handheld showers are not included. They are sold separately and can be found here at etrailer.com. When you're ready to use the shower, all you've got to do is lift up on the diverter pin, and that will transfer the water to this connection point here, which would take it to the handheld shower. The D-split connector is designed to prevent water backflow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. The unit is made from a durable plastic construction, and, again, it's biscuit in color. The mounting area does require two holes for your installation.
These connectors right here are for the hot and cold water lines. They are going to be separated on-center by about four inches, and they're going to give us a length measurement of an inch and a half. Those are going to have an outer diameter of 13/16ths of an inch with an inner diameter of 1/2 inch. They are threaded. The shower hose connector, this outlet right here, has an outer diameter of 13/16ths of an inch. Taking a look at some of the overall measurements real quick, measuring the base height, we are looking at about 2-1/8th.
Measuring edge to edge, it's going to give us a length measurement of about 6-1/4 inches, and then measuring from the back of the base to the farthest out point of the unit, that's going to give us a measurement of pretty close to 5 inches. Pretty simple installation. It has the plastic mounting nuts right there as well as a backing plate. The unit is going to come with detailed installation instructions. In here, it's going to walk you through the installation process. It does require two holes for the installation.
Those need to have a diameter of 1 inch. Then it also says, it has, an important note right there. It says, "The outlet of the tub spout must be installed a minimum of 2 inches above the flood rim of the tub." Then it's going to go over how to install it, how to get everything connected. On this side, it's going to go over some operating instructions and some helpful tips and some cautionary elements. On the back, it's going to have a detailed breakdown of the parts list. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix faucet's 4-inch, dual-handled RV tub, shower diverter faucet.
