Nice sealed unit. It casts a bright and clean light. I removed 1 star because it did not come with any mounting screws. There are 4 required. I spent too much time trying to find the appropriate stainless screws to mount the light. Other than that, it looks to be well made.

RV Porch Light With Mounting Hole Dimensions 5-1/4 Inch Apart
I checked all of the porch lights that we have, and if you need holes 5-1/4" apart, re-drilling may be the best option because we don't carry any lights with 5-1/4" between the holes. It is not uncommon for trailer light manufacturers to discontinue models after only a few years. So for a trailer manufactured in 2001 there is a good chance that the exact replacements aren't available anymore. How To Fix Hard To See Gauge On Instrument Panel of Motorhome
I think the best option to help illuminate the instrument panel better in the daytime would be to take some LED strips like part # UCL90CB and line the top or bottom of the bezel which holds the instrument panel. This could then be wired to an on/off switch so you can turn them off at night. It would also provide you with plenty of extra light to illuminate other areas of the motorhome such as inside a cabinet or under the dash in the foot well area.

Amber LED Porch Light Needed
We do have some amber porch light options, but unfortunately the only amber porch light option or lens from Command that we currently have is part # 328-007-30SAPE which is a different design than the part # 328-K-0054B that you referenced. The amber light options that we have which are similar are from Diamond. Part # DG52726VP is for if you already have a switch installed but part # DG52725VP comes with a built-in switch.
