Adco Olefin Installed

Summer is over, and you're worried about your Class A motorhome getting dirty and damaged in storage during high winds, snow flurries, and spring thunderstorms. Whether you're storing your RV in the sunny south, rainy northwest, or snowy north, this heavy-duty cover is designed to protect your RV in any climate. When you keep your RV covered during the winter, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it at the start of the camping season. And if you want to trade your RV in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

The durable, high-density Olefin top panel won't crack or fade when exposed to harmful UV rays and won't let dirt and dust particles cake onto the surface of your RV. It also beads water when it rains to eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your RV.

How to Measure Your Class A Motorhome

Adco How to Measure Class A RV

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your RV from the front bumper to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the RV chassis to the top of the roof. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your RV

Adco Olefin Secured with Integrated Straps

The included ladder cap and rain gutter covers help prevent the cover from splitting on those areas of the RV, so install those first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your motorhome, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.

Once the cover is in place, pull on the cinch ropes on the front and the rear until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your rig. These ropes remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your RV is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your RV to the other side and buckle them together. These straps keep the cover secure on your RV, preventing it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Adco Olefin Zippered Access Door

And if you still need to winterize or access one of the cargo compartments, you can use the zippered panels on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your RV without having to completely remove the cover.

Well first of all the fit does not allow for the rear view mirrors on a motorhome. I had to adjust my mirrors inwards against the body which is not convenient. Having to return mirrors to the original position when it was time to go on the next trip was a pain with my adjustments in and out to get them right again. Bear in mind, modern mirrors have two pivot points and both had to be moved to get the mirrors inside the cover. I think they should have allowed for mirrors in the first place as every car cover I've ever owned had room for them.

Major issue. Mine ripped apart in the wind even though it was synched up on all sides and from below on all straps. The manufacturer warranted it but advised that they would only do so one time. So much for a "full" warranty.

I cannot recommend this product.

by:

Very nice cover, overall I am pleased, the only issue I've had is where the cover met the roof drain downspouts. As it is windy where I live, the cover was penetrated by the downspouts. Not a major tear, but there should be some way to better protect the cover from them.

by:

Ripped several places. Gave me $xx off overpriced cover, but no repair patches. I do not recommend

We do actually sell some repair patches, part # 290-2093. For future reference, you can always use pool noodles on the sharper edges or corners of the trailer to help avoid this.

by:

For the price, it is a very nice cover. The roof area offers waterproof protection and the sides let the RV breathe and dry.

I have found this cover to be a good purchase. It definitely reduces the heat inside my RV - which is stored in a pasture in Texas where the sun is really powerful. The straps on the bottom do hold the cover in place well in these straight line winds we have around here - I do make sure that I snug it up well without being so tight that it would threaten to tear the cover.
I am grateful for the zippers to be able to get into it with the cover on. I need to exercise the generator, etc regularly. I am 5'5" and I have to use a stick to push the zippers up high enough to be able to open the door (including a stick designed for that purpose would be a great product improvement idea).
I can not put it on by myself, even when rolled up as instructed. It is too heavy. But the person on the ground doesn't need to do much other than rotate the rolled up bundle. Once it is half way up I can do the rest.
I do recommend getting the repair kit. I am careful about covering things yet there were still sharp areas the caused some tears as part of my learning curve.

Haven't opened the box yet, don't want to drag this monster out and then have to put it away till the fall. Subsequently, won't have a review till I actually go to use it. Fitment shows 34 to 37 feet. My Class A is 36 feet 6 inches....we'll see how it fits.

The price was great and shipping free and very fast. I installed the cover with my wife yesterday in about 45 minutes and it fits like it was custom made for our Winnebago Vista 36Y. It looks like very good quality but only time will tell. I'm very optimistic.

by:

Your customer service was easy to work with and answered all my questions and delivery was quick. Cover fits just right

by:

Good quality overall. One of the strap clips broke as I was throwing it to the other side. Could be a little heavier duty. Also, the storage bag is about half the size of the box that the cover came in. I doubt if it will fit in there.
Looks nice and fit well. I would recommend this cover!

I have a 2018 Lance 1995. This is the right size cover for this trailer. This is a good universal type cover ,but it is not a custom fit. This cover looks like it will work fine, but since the trailer has a curved from section it does not fit as well in the front as it does in the back. I have had to use bungee cords to help take up the slack and make a area for water to drain off the roof. I had to decide to either cover the propane tanks or the read bumper. I chose the tanks. If you get the next size up there will be too much cover and you will have issues dealing with the extra material. This cover is just long enough to reach the bottom of the siding with no extra material. It was arrived quickly from E Trailer. I suggest watching the installation video. It was helpful.

2 people installed the cover today in a light wind. I am a mechanical designer. I am not receiving any compensation for this review. This is our first cover going on our first RV. We ordered/received the the 22' long cover for the trailer which measures ~22' bumper to hitch ball plus some for the spare tire on the bumper. I am happy with the fit though it looks like it would fit a trailer whose "box" is about 3' longer and still go over the tanks and spare tire. I thought the ordering instructions said to include the tanks in the front and the bumper/spare tire in the back when determining the length.

There were no instructions except to "dull" sharp corners. The little foam tubes went on the gutter ends and I used black tape around sharp points on the bottom.

The only bad thing about the cover are the buckles/buckles: they worked but 1) they are too light duty, too weak, and the sections too thin in my opinion and 2) the design stinks because I want to hold the female end right where you press to release the buckle which was annoying but I figured out how to do it and it was more awkward than it needed to be considering other similar buckle types.

I got on the roof to pull the cover over from the side (not the front or back) over the ac, tv antenna, bathroom vent, etc and that worked well. It was too hard to pull the cover over the first top corner with me on a ladder and wife on the ground. If I could not get on the roof, we both would need to be on ladders. Or tie a rope to the straps and try to pull it over the top. Maybe try to pull it over from the front.

The fit is very good: good width, more than enough length and good height. I am glad the height was no taller so as to keep it from wrapping around the bottom which is sharp and the trim ends are sharp. We connected the underneath straps first, then the front and back then cinched the top and bottom corners to pull the whole thing tight along the perimeter.

All of the buckles are the same so I was able to repurpose some straps to wrap around the spare tire and bumper and connect to some other buckles for a better tie down arrangement. I would have liked a strap in the front middle to tie down under the tanks.

Otherwise, there are just the right number of straps underneath. I don't think more would help and less would make me nervous.

There are 2 flaps zipped on one side for a door at the front and/or the rear. I unzipped the front flap, sloppily rolled it up and attached the 3 velcro straps that hold the roll up. I had to undo 1 bottom strap from the flap so I need to rereview this after we have a good wind/rain storm but I think it will be ok. See pics. The trailer is parked in between a tree, shrubs, the house and the neighbors house so it is somewhat protected from some wind. Someone else may need to add a tie along the side bottom to take the place of the rolled up flap. When the flap is down, zipped, it is velcro'd at the bottom to the cover.

The perimeter cinch straps have a sleeve layered on top of the sleeve the strap is in which is great for 2 reasons. 1) you can stick your finger in it to grab it to push the cover back and pull out the strap, then 2) you can regrab it while pulling the strap through the buckle and keep the stress off the strap. This will keep the strap from scrapping and wearing while pulling through the buckle. I took pics and a video of this. And 3), this is another sleeve you can run a line through if needed.

Overall, I am very happy with this cover! It is reasonably thick material, aerated and the holes are covered with a flap to keep rain out, has a lot of straps which are well attached to the cover. The installation went better than expected at ~ 45 minutes and next time I expect to do it in half the time. The door access is a great feature. The cover went over the spare tire and the dual 20 lb tanks plus batteries in the front. One of the pics has the trailer model so you can see for yourself how well this cover fits this trailer. I expect this cover to last until a sharp corner some place tears a hole or the sun finally gets to it. The cover comes with a bag but I have not used it yet. And found a piece of velcro but not sure what for.

PS: Finally looked at the storage bag and found the instructions, self adhesive material to fix holes and weights that can be attached to the straps to throw underneath the vehicle (not over b/c the weight could break a window or make a dent) in a side pocket.

by:

The quality and fit are very nice. For reference, my Outdoor RV measured 20'10" and additional 16" for the spare tire for total 22'2" Plenty of room to install. The roof fabric was ample for the AC unit. Also noted the cover is full grey material and the white top is added over the grey to make the roof double thick which is a nice bonus. Please note that the manufacturer's paperwork says this cover is NOT water proof.

by:

I'll start out with the good. The cover fit excellent. The straps snugged up, the zipper access lined up perfectly and was generally easy to put on.
The bad is the cover has came apart in several spots, mostly corners and the satellite antenna area. None of these are sharp but for whatever reason it just rubbed right through. Cover was put on not quite a year ago and held up to the Minnesota winter seemingly fine but seasonal change wasn't kind too it.
I think the takeaway from this would be it would probably be good for 6 months or less but not beyond that.

by:

Installed per video and first time worked out well. Video implied weighted straps for tossing under trailer and a storage bag were to be included, although neither were nor was that mentioned in description. Would have been nice, though if they had. It installed well and covered trailer as it should. Only time will tell how well it will hold up but I am pleased so far.

by:

This review is for fit and installation. The fit is good. Just a little short. Installation is easy. Took about an hour. I will review again in the spring as to the condition of the cover and camper.

by:

Just installed our new cover which replaces an older ADCO cover. Installation was easy and it fits great with a little room to spare. We have a 30 ft Cougat 26rls. Material quality seems to have improved.

by:

Absolutely love this cover. I am 62, and was able to put this cover on myself (even being afraid of heights)! The gutter guards are a great addition and will prevent snags and or rips. Taking it off- I’ll ask for help, so the corners don’t get snagged on the lower ends. Great product thus far. I called and spoke w Ms Paula when I first ordered this cover, bc my camper is not as wide as most, but it is 20’. Had extra length, so I covered the propane cover and my hitch.
