The unit arrived with a large tear on the side of the box. The units t seems fine, however that is all we received the unit nothing else. No screws, no conversion wire nothing. I was very upset!! I did contact your office I know you have mailed the wire I assume the screws and other parts in the description will also be received. I now have to wait another week for A/C. It’s already been over a week. Thank you for your time.

by:

To early to tell for sure as last year bought 2 and one has failed. When working they were less noisy as before also cooled much better. etrailer handled the warranty fast and with excellent results ( thanks to Chloe ). If not for her would have been hard to give more that 1 star

by:

Perfect replacement for a Coleman unit. Plug and play, it’s quieter and cools better. Old unit was a 2003 and had 6600 hours on it. Hopefully we can get the same out of this unit!

by:

Jesse (salesman / support) was spot on. Easy to install. Only took our son an hour to install from start to finish. Cooling perfectly as we speak. Very happy we made this purchase.

by:

Trailer is my go-to site for anything related to my RV and towing. Customer support is always outstanding with knowledgeable staff. I originally ordered this through the manufacturer. They randomly chose me for a security check that lasted 3 weeks. After they confirmed I was me they said my card was rejected and I had to start my order over again. I did just that with etrailer and got a better price.
It should be noted that I am a full timer so my billing and shipping addresses are never the same. However, I have not experienced that problem with trailer. Maybe because etailer understands most people don't use their RV at home so they don't always need parts at home. Go figure.
The Furrion is a good product. My old AC was putting out air at 51 degrees. The new Furrion is putting out air at 38 degrees. I don't hear much mechanical noise with the Furrion but the sound of the air flow is just as loud. This is due to ducting, not the unit. So don't expect a much quiteter AC system. Also, since you are using your old Coleman controller make sure you write down your old model and serial number incase your controller ever goes bad.
One final thing. My old AC units were Airxcell. I could not find any reference from Furrion if this unit replaces Airxcell. It does as Airxcell is part of Coleman. Therefore, I purchased one unit to ensure it would work and then bought the second one.

by:

It was easy to swap out and install, we have a forklift so we didn’t have to lift it up a ladder
The unit came quickly and was in great shape, however the junction box was no attached to the unit, so I had to grab a couple screws and attach it see pictures , the unit is running nice and quiet and dropping the temperature , so far so good! It would be nice if it had an owners manual or some type of directions shipped with it

Thanks! to etrailer for reminding me to do this review after a year. VERY few businesses do this, and they wouldn't have had to do this. This speaks volumes about etrailer. I bought this Furrion A/C to replace a very problematic defective Dometic unit which died just BARELY out of warranty. After multiple attempts to get Dometic to do the right thing and replace their defective unit, they chose to instead to drag their investigation on for weeks and then never even afforded me the common courtesy of a definitive answer to my request. Sadly, this same thing happened to several of us here in this RV park, and we all replaced these units with Furrions. In short, this Furrion air conditioner works like a champ, and with the help of our other smaller size bedroom A/C, will quickly cool this sizable rig down to meat locker temps, and that's an accomplishment here in Southwest Florida where we invented heat and humidity! Thus far, this has proven to be a MUCH better A/C unit than the Dometic. Colder, and a considerably more powerful fan system, and the technical advise and service from etrailer has been spot-on. After a year, I can comfortably say that if you're considering a new A/C unit for your rig, this is the one to get and etrailer's the place to get it. Don't be fooled by some of these internet sites that might be a few bucks cheaper. There's a big difference between price and value and this is hands-down the best value in RV A/C units. When I need another one, I'll come right back here to etrailer and get another one. I'd be loyal to them because they earned it...and that's a rare commodity these days!!
Stay cool !!

I ordered on Tuesday and it showed up Thursday. It took me only 3 hours to install. That was by my self and I am 68 years old. The unit is a lot quieter than the Dometic I was replacing. It runs at 50 decibels sitting right under it. It is truly a plug and play. Remove one temp probe, one cannon plug, four bolts and you let gravity take the old unit off the roof. The hardest part was getting the new unit on the roof. Again E trailer has gotten me a good product quickly for a good price.

by:

Quinn was great finding the parts for the replacement of my RV air conditioner

by:

The a/c unit is doing the job.

The
lack of dump/vent is the primary deficiency.

Etrailer is a five star organization.

by:

This unit arrived well packed, no problems with shipping damage.
Works much better than the old coleman 13500 unit we had.
Will actually get down to temperature and turn of, old unit never turned off.
adapter kit for coleman unit , holes did not line up with existing ceiling vent.
Had to screw spacers to four corners in roof opening to attach air conditioner.
The wiring harness worked fine, plug and play. Over all very happy

by:

roger,
i was surprised to receive furrion
chill. i was expecting colemen mach.
they are now at the repair shop, i am replacing the roof and repairing water damage.
the timeline is another week or so out.
since they have to pull the other conditioners out, i figured it would be a good time for an upgrade.
u dun gud...:-)
tks for the assist.

by:

Excellent unit!! Cool the camper quickl y!!

by:

The unit arrived sooner than expected. I love the exterior design. Install of the unit was easy. I ordered the adapter kit to work with my existing coleman power box.
If you purchase the LED air distribution panel, I recommend replacing the coleman power box and ordering the furrion thermostat that is needed to power the LED lights. If you purchase the air panel without the LED light, you can keep your coleman power box and existing thermostat.
The furrion unit cools the living room, bedroom and bathroom faster, the air "out" is colder than the coleman mach unit. I had to replace the brand new coleman mach unit with the furrion since the company we purchased the trailer new from refused to replace the defective ac unit. Money well spent and I will replace the second ac unit with a furrion soon.

by:

Great service! I will order from etrailer again, I was very pleased with every part of the process.

by:

Arrived ups excellent condition in two days, can't beat that. Hardest part of installing was removing the vent where I was installing the air conditioner. Seems to be cooling very well. Etrailer are always great to deal with.

by:

Replaced a 26-year-old Coleman Mack (compressor failure) with this. 90-degree, humid Midwest temps no challenge for this. On medium cool I an bring the RV down to 70 degrees inside. Easy install. I did it myself. I like the rotary controls on the disruption panel. I have a hard time with the touch screen thermostats and controllers. Very good replacement for an Older RV with an aging A/C unit.

by:

Quick delivery..... Easy instal..... Works great on my Winnebago Spider Toy Hal

by:

Had an issue out of the gate with my ac unit cover having broken tabs. Carol from customer service was amazing when I came to taking care of everything I needed including prompt and thorough follow up throughout the process, and ultimately get it replaced. etrailers customer service is in a word OUTSTANDING!!!

  • Air Conditioner Replacement Recommendation for Coleman Mach
For your Coleman Mach setup that you have on your Winnebago the Furrion Chill part # FR82PV that you referenced would be a really great option. This is the quietest and coldest unit out there and since it was designed for Coleman applications like yours it would plug right into the existing wiring easily and comes with brackets to make the mounting really easy as well.

  • Recommended Replacement Air Conditioner for 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta LX with Coleman Setup
I may have a solution for you, but the numbers provided don't match up to typical Coleman model number parts; Coleman Mach is the brand of RV air conditioners under the RVP (RV Products). My contact over at RVP/AirXcel mentioned that the 0's in your model numbers might be B's, which would match those numbers up to a Coleman Mach 3 Plus. In order to provide an easier installation you'll want to choose a unit that has connections that match your old setup. Because of this, you won't want...

It will typically be a 6 or 9-pin connector, but some times Dometic units can be hardwired. • Replacement Air Conditioner Recommendation for a Dometic 57915.731 Air Conditioner
I have a great choice for you. While we do not carry the Dometic line of A/C's and I had a hard time finding the specifics of your 57915.731, we do have A/C's that will work to replace a Dometic A/C. There are two different routes that you can take here for replacement. A complete replacement (inside and rooftop components) or rooftop unit only (works with the inside components already in place from your Dometic). I recommend the Furrion Chill A/C.
