Today we're taking a look at a replacement barrel clip for Nerf bars. This unit replaces one barrel clip on your Westin E-Series Round or Platinum Series oval step bar. It also fits Westin straight-style, oval tube steps.Now, this new barrel clip, when you're ready to install it, installs in the hole in the step bar. Then you need to align the plastic stud on the bottom of the step pad to the barrel clip, and push into place until it's tight, fully installed, and all the way secured.That's going to do it for a look at the replacement barrel clip for Nerf bars. This comes in a quantity of one.
When I went looking for this item, I contacted these folks and they were able help me perfectly even though I was unsure of what the part was called. Then the parts were ordered and shipped in a timely fashion. It was exactly what I needed and they work! Plus, their customer communication is great. They follow up to make sure everything is as it should be.
product is good. i used this one as a universal fit for a different type nerf bars, its the only one i could find that is 21 inches long, same as original one. i had to drill new holes as the prongs dont match original holes.
Would of given 5 stars, however had to wait a week before installation of the step pad. Placed the order, and only one clip of the four arrived with the order. Spoke with customer service who asked if the box was damaged, which is was not and bag was still sealed. Just received the other 3 clips today, installation of the step pad was easy and a perfect fit.
This product fit just the way it was suppose to. It saved me hundreds of $ in just repairing the nurf bars on my truck. If I couldn't have repaired the stepping pad I was going to buy new ones. This is a life saver, quick and easy to install
Thank goodness someone has these little push clips! Step bar are still in good shape, glad I didn't have to replace them just for the vinyl pads. Thank You etrailer.com.
The barrel clips that came with the nerf bar step pads - part # 23-0001worked great. I'm glad I ordered several extra because one was smashed. The nerf bar pads were awesome and easy to replace. I will be ordering more parts from etrailer in the next few weeks. I was told from another company that these step pads would not fit my 2011 Chevy Duramax, my measurements were exact as those provided by etrailer. Very pleased !! Thanks, Kreg H

I'm disappointed with my Westin Step Tubes. They are rusting badly after 7 years even though they were said to be powder-coated. Not etrailer's fault, it's Westin's poor quality. Your replacement part worked fine.

I ordered replacement barrel clips for step pads for my Toyota Tacoma. The website provided all the information needed to ensure what I ordered would be easy to install.
Product took a little persuation to install in nerf bar hole. Once installed he step pad returned to original state.I thought it was the wrong size however I was able to adjust to make it fit.
Looks good now...

I was a little dissappointed with the shipping. It took 10 days to get with standard shipping. So maybe improve on that.

Great replacement hardware to install a replacement pad. I ordered all 5 needed for one step pad replacement, and was glad I did as when you pull off the old pad it ruins the old clips.

Barrel clip is exact replacement for attaching Westin running board pads used on my Pro Traxx 4 oval.
Well made very solid. Does a great job of securing step pad. A bit of lubricant helps sometimes on the step pad prongs.
