2024 Thor Freedom Classic 32A Can a shortinch awning arm be replaced with a longer arm? Will that decrease or increase the default pitch? I currently have a Solera 3000 series 12V power awning with a damaged support arm and Im wondering why the motorhome shipped with short support arms.

Hey David, so it really comes down to how tall of a wall the awning is attached to if a taller or shorter arm could attach to it. In general I would recommend just sticking with the size you have now as it shouldn't offer you much of a difference since projection should be right at the same.
The 3000 kit should use the 63 inch long arms which for a replacement for that we have the part # LC404523.

Hey David, how did things go with the replacement arm for your Solera 3000 awning? Did the 63-inch arm end up fitting your Freedom Classic the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for others replacing damaged arms on similar setups.
