Exactly what I needed to level pulling my military trailer. The pintle hitch bolted to the mounting plate within a few minutes. Now I can get into the back country with my FJ pulling a trailer made possible by the your pintle hitch/mounting plate Combination.

AAA+++ Unfortunately for me the mounting plate was too high (my fault) and would damage the tailgate of my truck. I wish Curt would make a plate about 2 inches shorter.
We needed this to raise the level of a pintle hitch for our water trailer. The height is just right now. Although I haven’t towed with it yet, I’m sure it will be fine. After all, it does have 5 stars on the reviews. I do want to say that your shipping was fast. Not even a week! That I appreciate!

Use this with a curt 16k combination ball/pintle hitch and am very satisfied so far. No drama purchase via Etrailer, and when the torque spec for the hitch — inexplicably — wasn’t included in the literature a call to their friendly team fixed this issue.
Robust! This pintle mount plate is a monster! Fitment to my 2013 Toyota 4Runner 2” hitch is great, and precisely the size I was looking for, given rear hatch access,(The rear hatch swings free and clear) and pintle hook rise requirements. I easily went from 17” to 26” off the pavement! Photos will show the additional reflective tape I applied to necessitate a safe night’s drive. Photos show the really nice locking pin that secures the mount plate. Special kudos to Jessie at etrailer customer service to expertly assist me in the selection discussion- what a joy! Delivery was ahead of schedule and the product met my specifications! Now let’s get on the road and see how she runs!
