Need a quick shutoff or drain for your RV water line? This Flair-It valve fits your PEX pipe and connects to a 3/8" hose fast. Just hand-tighten for repairs, upgrades, or easy draining when you need it.
Need to control or drain a line in your RV's plumbing system? This Flair-It straight valve lets you shut off water or connect a drain tube right where you need it. Just cut your 1/2" PEX, PB, or polyvinyl pipe, slide the nut onto pipe, push pipe onto the barb, and hand-tighten the compression nut. The 3/8" male compression end is perfect for attaching a braided supply hose or drain tube. You can also install 3/8" lines with a ferrule/sleeve and retainer nut (not included) for extra flexibility.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Flair-It PEX straight valve. It's a stop fitting with a 1/2 inch PEX barb on one end and a 3/8 inch barb on the other end. So folks, a valve stop lets you control the flow of water in your RV's fresh-water plumbing system. And when you have the PEX installed, or on the pex, it would look something like this.
Now you've got two sides here. You've got this side here with the threaded in. This is gonna be your half inch. Your PEX line will go in here. So you'll first put this this in on the pex, and then you'll push everything on here.
You'll tighten it down. And then on this end, that's your three eighth inch standard hose bar. Now, these are gonna work great with PEX pipes on this end, and then over here you're gonna maybe connect those old gray PD pipes, poly vinyl tubing, those kind of things. This is made of a polyoxymethylene construction. It is durable and resistant to cracks and stress cracks.
So as you can see, opening and closing it in there, we will turn the valve inside and stop the water flow as needed. So again, folks, a very simple straight valve stop fitting. I'm Steven. Have a good one.

This is awesome
The part I ordered came in exactly what I needed. Thank you for a stress free transaction!
Great products and great company
Works perfectly with the pex plumbing in my RV camper. I used it for a shutoff for my toilet.
Awesome experience from products to customer service
It doesn't work well as a shut off on an RV.
Installed and working great
This did not work on the 1/2" vinyl tubing in my camper. Because the tubing wasn't brand new, it was stretched a little larger in OD than new. There was no way to get the compression nut slid over the tubing. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until I cut the hose to the toilet, leaving me with no water in the RV.
I think they're great. Flair-It also makes a product called Flair-It Flex (see attached picture) that they recommend you would use with reinforced 1/2"compression hose. Flair-It Pex, works great with Pex. They also make a similar replacement product/seal for the 90° swivel.
Just what we needed to fix our leak
Very good service
Great product and still running strong!
It fit beautiful after I got the old valve out. It’s better than the one that was originally in the Motorhome. Thank you for your quick and wonderful service.
Easy to install
Perfect fit for our 2004 tent trailer for the low point drain.
Worked great in hooking up kitchen water faucet in my fifth wheel trailer
This product was easy to install and resolved the water leak from the older installed valve.
Not a easy fix. attempted to put it on my 1/2 PEX overflow line attached to my fresh water RV tank. On dirt roads the tank water runs out the overflow line and I lose about 25 gal. Tried wriggling it back and forth would not go in the PEX line no matter how I tried. Will try heating the line up with a heat gun and see how that works, hopefully I will not damage the PEX line.

A water leak is never ever fun to deal with. So relieved you don't have to worry about it any more :)
