Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Flair-It PEXLock T-Connector Fitting Now, this RV freshwater plumbing tee is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system, whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines. This is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO approved polyvinyl pipes. Now, the three half inch crimped connections with these three PEXLock clamps mean that you're not gonna need any specialized tools to get a secure fit with this fitting. The reusable PEXLock clamps are installed with just a pair of pliers, and then they can be removed with a screwdriver. So to install this, lemme just give you a brief illustration of how you would do this.
You would first slide the PEXLock clamp over the end of the pipe, making sure that it's flush with the straight cut end, and then you want to make sure that it meets the next, rather, you wanna insert the fitting into the end of the pipe, and then you wanna make sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting. And then finally, you're going to use a pair of pliers to squeeze together the two ears on the clamp until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other. So after you do that with all three of the connections here, the overall connection is going to be very secure for you. We have been very impressed at how secure the connection was on other Flair-It fittings. So once you have this properly installed, this is going to hold very well for you, and you're not gonna have to worry about this fitting once it's been installed.
Now, to remove this fitting, you'll carefully use a bladed screwdriver to remove the PEXLock clamps, and it might take some doing to get the fitting actually removed from the pipe or the tubing, whatever you have that installed, just because of that secure fit that it had. This durable fitting is reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress. So this is going to be a very durable fitting and very long lasting for you. Well, that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
