Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Flair-It PEXLock 90 degree PEX elbow fitting. This RV freshwater plumbing 90 degree elbow coupler is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. Whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines, this is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO-approved polyvinyl pipes. The two 1/2-inch crimp connections with the two PEXLock clamps means that you don't need any specialized tools for a secure fit. And the reusable PEXLock clamps are going to be installed with just a pair of pliers, and they can be removed with something like a screwdriver.
Now, of course, the 90 degree elbow is going to let water, the flow of water change direction without the risk of kinking your tubing. And to install this, it's going to be relatively simple. You're going to slide the PEXLock clamp over the end of the pipe or tube. You wanna make sure that it's flush with the straight cut end, and then you're going to insert the fitting into the end of the pipe or the tube, and you wanna make sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting. And then finally, you're gonna use a pair of pliers to squeeze together the two ears on the clamp until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other.
So that's going to really give you a tight, secure fit. And we have been very impressed at how secure other connections have been on other Flair-It fitting. So once you have this properly installed, you're not gonna have to worry about just how secure this fitting is going to be in your RV plumbing. Now, to remove this fitting, you're going to carefully use a bladed screwdriver to remove the PEXLock clamps. And once you have the clamps removed, or at least loosened, it might take some doing to actually remove the fitting from the tube or the pipe that you have this installed, so, just because of that secure fit, so just be aware of that.
And this durable fitting is reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress. So it's going to hold up real well for you. It's gonna be very durable for you and very long-lasting. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
