Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B&B polar white RV exterior shower box. This self-contained shower box for RV exterior use is going to contain everything that you need to take a shower outside of your RV. So upon opening this, you see that we do have a faucet here and then we do have a shower hose and then we have our shower head right here. And then the faucet is going to allow you to get the perfect mix. Let me move this hose out of the way just a little bit more.
We're gonna be able to get that perfect mix of hot and cold for your shower outside of your RV. Now this hose is about 60 inches long and the hose is flexible and this screws into this 90 degree fitting that comes off of the faucet if you can see that right there. Now on the back here we do have half inch MPT water connections on the back and the shower head, let me come around the table here so I can show this to you. The shower head does include a water shutoff lever. And then what's really nice about this is there's a little connection point, a bracket there and we have a post right here and you can mount it right there for hands-free use.
So that's pretty convenient. A nice little feature that's built into the box. And this is made here in the USA of a plastic material that is impact and salt resistant. This is not going to fade or yellow from UV rays. This is gonna hold up really well against the elements that this is going to be constantly exposed to.
So let me see if I can go ahead and roll this back up here. So again, that hose is in my opinion, gonna give you quite a bit of length there. I do like the fact that you can mount the shower head for hands-free operation. So I'm just gonna kind of tuck this in here and probably when you use the hose a few times it'll become a little more flexible. But it fits in there just like that.
Again, you got your knobs there for the faucet and then this is going to close up real easily. You notice that we do have a lock here. It does include a global link key so that you can then lock this up so you won't have to worry about somebody coming by and messing around with it and using up your water when you're not around. So really easy to lock up there. It does also include the mounting hardware. There we go. The lock is tight on there right now since it's new. But that's going to be able to allow you to easily open that up and close it. So you have some butyl tape here. You've got some screws here that's going to allow you to secure this into place. And let me go ahead and give you some dimensions, some measurements so you can be confident this is going to work for you. So looking at the outside dimensions, lining that up there. So you can see we're sitting right at about 13 and 7/8 inches, 13 and 7/8 inches wide. And then looking at the height from bottom to top, we're sitting right at about 8 and 7/8 inches tall. And then you might be wondering about the cutout dimension. So for that, let me get my ruler, it might be a little bit easier to handle. So looking at that cutout dimension, we are sitting right at about 11, and 1/16 inches wide. And then the height about six inches tall on that cutout. And then if you're wondering about the total depth, it looks like we are sitting pretty close to, I'm gonna call it right at about almost four inches it looks like on the total depth there, just coming up to the end of the cutout there. If you wanna include the water connections, almost five inches, maybe about 4 11/16 inches total depth. So again, this is in polar white, but if you like what you see here, you like the features and the specs and everything is matching up for you the way that you want it, but you're not necessarily too fond of the color, we're gonna open that up there for you. We do also provide this in black. And so on your screen, I am including the model number, the item number for the black version of this. You can just take that item number and pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to the black option if that's going to match the exterior of your RV better.
