Ratings & Reviews
I find most of the products on etrailer to be of good quality, I found the mirrors not to be as functional as hoped.
Mirrors vibrate badly at highway speed’s, making them annoying and not useful.
I tried adjusting them with no success.
Respectfully
Great idea, great concept, and great execution. With the added extension, I am able to see where I couldn't before. Next step is the road test.
One minor con is I do wish the clips that go into the original vehicle mirror housing were 1) thinner, to fit better between the mirror and the housing, 2) wider, to allow for a better hold on the mirror housing, 3) longer, to allow for a sure grip on the mirror housing.
As for ETrailer.com, they are the best. I don't even look around any more. I just start with ETrailer, and I know if they don't have what I need, it will be hard to find.
Thank you Etrailer.com, you came through again
I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The product fulfils the DOT requirements of having an extended mirror when pulling a trailer. The mirrors vibration is a bit annoying and they don't maintain the adjustment for viewing for long when driving. The outside bevelled mirror however is helpful for checking the blind spot before changing lanes. Also, if you adjust the mirrors right before backing up they are very helpful.
I found plenty of help when needed and prices that often beat the competition. Easy to use web site. I bought a Curt C17499 weight distribution system. It does not come with the hitch ball mounted from the manufacture. Many of us do not have the tools needed to mate the ball to the system. It's turning out to be more difficult to consummate the marriage of the hitch ball to the WD system than I anticipated for those of us who are toolless.
This was bought for a popup camper. Fits well and doesn't jiggle on the open road. Greatly helps in seeing around the trailer. I tape down the holding straps that face forward into the wind. I drive a Nissan Frontier and started to buy a permanent larger mirror. Glad I didn't. Just take this one off and attach it on as you need it.
This is our second set of towing mirrors. The first set which hooked on without the securing straps, did not survive the first RV trip. At 60 miles per hour, the passenger mirror flew off hitting the side of our truck. The next time we went camping we saw these mirrors on our friend's truck. He said he was very happy with them. I ordered them immediately when we got home. These extend from 7 to 10 inches by adjusting the knobs to open the arms. They were easy to put on the truck's mirrors. Looks like they will be perfect.
The view takes some getting used to. With your vehicles mirror you will see three different views. I like to use this on my left side when pulling a camper. The wide angle allows me to see down the road and is good for seeing down the side on the camper when backing up. Ray on and off. I use zip ties to help stabilize the mirror.
Rubber straps come undone while driving by the wind. On first trip, I had to stop several times along roadside as a mirror came loose. Universal fit is misleading: I have F150 and would not recommend for this size mirror.
Excellent product. Holds on to my SUV (Ford Explorer) mirrors without slipping. I do add a small bungee with a ball end near the mirror to make it extra secure. Eventually the rubber straps wear out and break, but this is normal and based on usage. The main and outside mirrors adjust easily and stay in position. I would definitely buy again.
work as promise
I hear complaint about shaking, okay there is a little shaking but no worst than my 66 Chevy., I know what is going on. When I backup it does not shake.
Once I got it all adjusted, I place a piece of tape for the driver side. The next time it's no effort. I took the trailer out for camping 10 time last year all I had to do is clip-on.
Like it will stick with it.
Cheers all, I hope that reassure you.
So far the product meets my needs and expectations! Very happy with the product. The mirrors fit my Highlander and work well when pulling my 18' travel trailer.
Easy to install but in need of at least minor instructions for the not so handy. Easy to adjust mirrors also but again some instructions for the new users as which mirror to use and the purpose to set it up a certain way. Otherwise a great product for its price.

After the first year of use one of the strap studs snapped off while driving. A quick fix with a couple of small screws seems like it did the trick. I did label each side so I did not have to adjust the mirrors each time I put them on.
These worked well on both side mirrors of my 2016 Colorado with a 7 foot wide RV trailer.

These mirrors allow me to see alongside the 7 foot wide RV however, I would have liked them to be a little wider for a better view. Mount to the trucks mirrors is quite firm, but there is quite a bit of vibration of the extension mirrors at speed 55 mph. Could probably be cured by heavier mounting arms.
This mirror worked to some extent, however, it did not sit on the factory OEM mirrors of my vehicle very well. Also, I had to adjust the actual mirrors within this assembly each time I placed them on my vehicle. And then found myself adjusting them as I'm towing my RV to our vacation destination. The mirrors seem to adjust on their own due to vibration from the vehicle is in motion.
They vibrate too much I think I need to buy two towing mirrors that take place of original ones

We do offer full replacement towing mirrors for the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I recommend K-source extendable mirror part # KS62135-36G because they have a heating feature for use during inclement weather and an LED turn signal built in. Please keep in mind with any replacement towing mirror you run the risk of losing original functionalities of the OEM mirrors.

The mirrors are working great!
I am VERY satisfied with this product. I tow a 21' travel trailer behind a 2016 Chevy Colorado LT crew cab and wouldn't be without these mirror extensions. The obvious advantage is the view to the rear of the trailer eliminating the dangerous blindspots to the sides of the trailer. The only problem I have with these mirrors is that the mounting is a little too flexible which requires some adjustment each time I install the mirrors, but that is a very minor inconvenience which I have become accustomed to.
Work great pulling a 8.5 foot wide pontoon!
Just put them on. Very easy fit is good. I can’t say anything else because I have not pulled my camper yet. We are going to N Carolina for mother’s day. So we will see how they perform on the road. They are well made and sturdy. Better than I expected. So for now 4 stars after trip I will revisit and hopefully go to 5 stars. These went on. 2006 Kia Sorento
I have 2015 Ford F150. Nothing from Ford out on market yet. Towing mirrors from previous truck did not fit. These do the trick. Seems to be sturdy and the straps hold tight. A little stiff in adjusting mirrors but that could be new-ness.

Used first time this month on trip to TN. Held on sturdy enough and a little stiff to adjust but once in place, seemed to do the trick.
Received my mirrors quickly and they seem to be a good fit for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I have not used them yet as a towing mirror for my trailer trailer. I have been using your custom slide on towing mirrors for my 2008 Dodge truck for many years, and they fit and perform perfectly. Good quality product.

After a year and several thousand miles am still pleased with their performance.
I needed extended mirrors for my 2017 Pacifica and couldn't find anything with a typical search.
Because I purchased my hitch from etrailer which I am very pleased with.
I looked up the mirrors there and they had them at a very fair price.
They were delivered very quickly.
The mirrors were easy to setup and adjust.
I can't wait to use them.

Not working. The mirrors were hard to get to stay tight and I could not trust them. I never used them.
Their website is awesome! We were sold because of the website. We wanted to make sure these mirror extenders would work with our car make and model. Darned if they didn't have a video starring our exact make and model! To top it all off shipping, economy I think it's called, was lightning fast. I was concerned it would take weeks to get it. I mean we all know what "economy" means in real life... Not here! I highly recommend etrailer!

Yes we love them and we just bought another pair that are one solid mirror. Fabulous product!
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything.
Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK.
This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

2014 GMC Sierra fit perfect. Bought one for each side. No problems during my 1500 mile journey. Outside mirror gave me notice, inside mirror means dont change lanes. I would have had a wreck had it not been for these mirrors. Also, kept me from getting a ticket.
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

The mirrors have been transferred to our new towing vehicle, a Ram 1500. They continue to serve us well when we tow our travel trailer.
