The Adarac Aluminum Series Ladder Rack adds serious utility without giving up your bed space. It supports up to 500 lbs (250 lbs per bar), so you can haul ladders, lumber, and pipe during the week, then load up kayaks, skis, or surfboards for the weekend. The over-cab height design keeps long cargo safely above the bed while leaving room underneath for tools or other gear.
This rack is made of lightweight aluminum that's rustproof and corrosion-resistant. The matte black finish adds another layer of durability and helps hide everyday wear. Even with heavy use on job sites or back roads, the extruded aluminum frame stays strong and looks clean.
Installation is quick and straightforward. The foam-padded utility rails sit on top of your bed rails and secure with aluminum stake pocket inserts no drilling needed. The padding protects your trucks finish while the rail design provides a solid foundation for the uprights and crossbars.
Square crossbars feature mounting channels along the top and bottom so you can easily attach tie-downs or accessories. The removable rubber strip on top gives access to those channels, and the uprights slide along the utility rails so you can adjust spacing for long or bulky items. About the only rack that will work with a rail mounted cover. Works great for my 2 kayaks. Looks great too.
These worked out great for carrying my Kayak. Easy to put on and take off. i leave the rail on all the time and its not obtrusive.
This rack is awesome! It fits with the toneau cover on the bed and the two do not interfere with each other. It is built tough, but it's light weight to handle, making it easy for one person to take off and put back on the truck alone. We use it to carry kayaks when we go camping, and got some extra tie-downs to hold the kayaks in place so they won't slide around. We take the rack arms off leaving the bed frames on the truck when not being used, so it's fast to just put the arms of the rack back on when needed. That way there is no need to readjust anything.
