Cold wind keeps sweeping under your camper, leaving the floor cold and plumbing exposed. These inflatable tubes wedge between the ground and chassis with no drilling, so you can block drafts while keeping drains and hookups accessible.
Small off-road campers can sit much farther off the ground than standard-height trailers, leaving more open space for cold wind underneath. Six inflatable tubes with a 34" diameter fit between the ground and chassis on campers with up to 32" of ground clearance, trapping air beneath your RV to reduce heat transfer and block wind without stakes or external weights. Once they're in place, less cold air can move beneath your floor and exposed plumbing. That insulating barrier can help in hot weather, too, by limiting hot air moving beneath your RV and helping the space underneath stay cooler.
Traditional skirting can mean drilling into your RV, adding mounting channels, or sticking hardware to the exterior. These tubes stay in place by wedging between the chassis and ground. Included straps with carabiners attach to the D-rings at the ends of adjacent tubes, helping hold the sections together to reduce shifting and improve stability in windy conditions. Use the included 800W AC air pump to inflate the tubes at setup and deflate them when you're ready to move. Then pack the tubes and setup materials into the included carry bag instead of leaving hardware attached to your RV.
Drains, hookups, steps, and other underbody obstructions rarely line up neatly with a straight skirt. Two 6' tubes, two 4' tubes, and two 2' tubes can be positioned individually around those areas, so you can close more of the gaps underneath without boxing in the equipment you still need to reach. You can empty tanks or use your hookups without dismantling a large section of skirting.
Sharp ground debris and exposed chassis edges can puncture the tubes if they press directly against the material. Apply the included stick-on corner and edge protectors anywhere a sharp point could make contact before you inflate the skirt. The tubes use 2 layers of 0.6 mm PVC tarpaulin, and patch material is included for minor puncture repairs, though adhesive is not included.
Big temperature swings can change how firmly the tubes sit beneath your camper. Inflation may need to be checked and adjusted as the weather changes, especially during long winter stays. Keeping an eye on tube pressure helps maintain the placement you set during installation as temperatures change.
The main tubes can cover most of the perimeter, but tires, pull-down steps, and recessed areas can leave openings for cold air. When temperatures really drop, blocking cold wind is only part of the equation.
