This hitch bike rack makes it easy to take 4 fat tire bikes to the trail. Ratcheting hooks hold bikes securely by the frame and lock to deter theft. Wheel hoops adjust for different wheelbases. Anti-rattle system reduces wobble and sway.

Specs:
The Sport Rider Special Edition platform-style hitch bike rack makes it simple to carry 4 fat bikes on the rear of your vehicle. This versatile rack is easy to use, and it features locking frame hooks and wheel hoops specifically designed for fat tire bikes, so you can quickly load and unload your bikes. An anti-rattle system tightens the rack's shank to your hitch receiver to prevent it from rattling around inside the tube.
The Sport Rider SE consists of a 2-bike base unit and a removable 2-bike extension unit, allowing you to use the carrier as either a 2- or 4-bike rack. The 2 pieces also make the rack easy to handle and install because you can slide the base into your hitch and secure it before adding the extension.
Locking, Ratcheting Hooks
The Sport Rider SE uses locking frame hooks to secure your bikes. The ratcheting, cushioned hooks easily adjust along the vertical mast and lock securely in place. The release buttons allow each hook to slide up the ratcheting arm for bike removal. The hooks function independently, which means you can position them to carry bikes of different heights.
Adjustable Wheel Hoops
The wheel hoops are wider than standard cradles and will hold tires up to 5" wide. These hoops accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 60" by sliding along the horizontal arms. They are secured in place with easy-to-use hand knobs, and the Velcro-like hook-and-loop straps fasten the wheels to the hoops.
The rack also comes with 4 sets of standard-size holders, giving you the option of carrying 4 fat bikes, 4 standard bikes, or a combination of both.
Folding, Tilting Design
The rack tilts, with or without bikes loaded, for easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Simply remove the pivot pin, pull the bottom quick-release spring pin, and lower the rack.
The rack also folds up against the back of your vehicle when it's not in use. To raise the rack, just pull the upper quick-release spring pin and lift.
Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle System
The rack installs in your hitch without the need for tools. Simply slide the shank into your receiver until the welded stop plate contacts the hitch. The stop plate saves you from getting on your hands and knees to align the pin holes while inserting the hitch pin. Once the pin is in place, attach the lock pod. Lastly, use the integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the shank to tighten the rack inside your hitch receiver and prevent it from rattling. A second lever secures the two-bike extension to the base of the rack.
Complete Security for Bikes and Rack
The lock cores in the frame hooks hold the bike down on the rack and prevent them from moving. Also, the lock pod attaches to the hitch pin to secure the rack to your vehicle. These locks are conveniently keyed alike. For extra protection, the 8' long security cable wraps through the bike frames, connects to the hitch pin, and is secured to the pin by the hitch lock. The extension cable can be added to the 8' cable to help secure 4 bikes to the rack.
Add-On Adapters
If you want to carry both 2 bikes and extra gear, an add-on cargo basket (sold separately) is available.
If you want to use the rack to transport a kid's bike with 16" or 18" wheels, wheel hoop adapters (sold separately) are available.
If you want to transport 1 recumbent delta trike or 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike with the Sport Rider SE, you can use the HRTRK-ADP adapter (sold separately). Or if you want to transport 1 standard bike and either 1 recumbent delta trike, 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike, or 1 adult trike, then you can use the HRTRK-ADP-2 adapter (sold separately).
Note: The trike adapters can only be used with the Sport Rider SE's two-bike base unit.

This is the rack you need to haul your electric bike . It’s heavy enough to do the job for the heavy bikes .
So far, pretty darn good. Materials are solid, overall is well built, instructions could be a bit better but most aspects are pretty intuitive. Using with 2 good sized ebikes, have taken them on a couple of small (1/2hr) trips, works well. I have the wide tire stirrups, and they fit my 5" tires very well. The multiple locks (hitch pin, both ratchets, cable lock) are really appreciated, and they are all keyed the same. Ratcheting system works as advertised and provides a secure hold down for the bikes.
One modest worry, it uses a 1 1/2 hitch tube with a 2" adapter. Like all of these kinds of set ups, this adds some greater wiggle in the hitch connection, so the whole system with the weight of the bikes bounces side to side a bit. They do provide a screw in hitch pin with lock that reduces, but does not come close to eliminating this. I'm adding 2 tie down straps to each side to steady it further. Would be better if they made a full 2" hitch style.
Great rack for Fat Tire Electric Bikes. I transported 2 Rad Rovers and 1 Trail Viper from Florida to Michigan and back with no issues. The only recommendation I have is they should add a Tail Light option to the Rack since most vehicles brake lights will not be visible if you have the bikes covered. I added my own trailer light kit and it worked great. See Photo.
Easy to use and Very sturdy
I normally only use the double rack , But its nice to have the option to add 2 more bikes when needed. I use both the fat and standard tire loops. I prefer the ratchet straps on the fat tire loops over the Velcro on the standard loops. Tho Both do the job fine.
We were excited to purchase this product. After LOTS of research, this massive rack appeared to check all the boxes: 4 bikes, regular or fat tire, RV-approved, tray-style, hitch mount, well-rated and affordable. After waiting a month for delivery, it finally arrived.
My husband and I assembled it, not too difficult and directions were clear. We used it the very same day and headed north to camp for the weekend in the RV, 4 bikes included. Mind you, in addition to this rack, we own a Saris 2-bike hitch mount tray rack, and a "4 bike" (but not really) hitch mount crossbar rack, neither of which completely met our needs.
Though this rack seemed like it had it all, in reality the mechanics of it are cumbersome and difficult to operate. We are sad and will have to live with it at this point I suppose b/c I'm sure there's no shipping this monster back. I like the ease and style of our Saris rack much better; on-loading and off-loading bikes is a cinch. On the Hollywood rack, the M-shaped frame levers are EXTREMELY difficult to slide up and down, as are the tire trays to move back and forth. There is a great amount of finagling needed to get bikes on and off this rack. Though I am patient, my husband hates it, swears and expected greater ease for the money. Because the M-shaped levers are stacked, one has to be very planful about the order and direction bikes are loaded on to this rack.
If you don't need RV -approved, I might advise looking at the Kuat instead.
Sturdy, stable, secure but pretty heavy and the hooks that are supposed to slide up and down to secure over the bike bar are difficult to slide. I never worry about the bikes once loaded, though.
Bike Rack has met all my expectations with the ability to securely carry a combination of Fat Tire and Not-So-Fat Tire Bikes. Set the primary portion of the rack for carrying my Off-Road Fat Tire Bikes with the option of adding two additional bikes on the extension rack when riding with family and friends. Thanks!
