Question:

Does this rack by Hollywood Racks work to carry 4 Aventon Aventure EBikes? 3 of the bikes are standard frames, and 1 bike is a step through. As Aventure models they have 4 inch tires. TIRES 26 x 4inch Ebike Rated Tires For the standard bikes - Frame Size Large Top Tube Length 604mm Reach 375mm Head Tube Length 140mm Standover Height 713mm Wheelbase 1141mm For the Step Thru Bike Aventure Step-through Ebike Top Tube Length 604mm Reach 375mm Head Tube Length 140mm Standover Height 485mm Wheelbase 1141mm Also, I checked the Hollywood Racks website and it says the HR 1400Z only works with 3inch tires, not 5. There is a HR 1500Z but that only comes in a 2 bike version and not a 4 bike version. A search for the model number HR 1400Z-FB comes up empty on the Hollywood Racks website. I assume FB stands for Fat Bike. Please confirm that this model does fit a bike with at least 4inch tires.

The # HR1400Z-FB will accommodate bikes of that size and shape, if an adapter bar like # HRBA-PRO is used for the step through framed bike, but you'll need to find out if the weight of the bikes would be a problem. I saw several weights mentioned online for the Aventon Aventure, and didn't see what the battery packs weigh.

The # HR1400Z-FB can accommodate 4 bikes weighing up to 50 lbs each, so if your bikes weigh less than that, or if removing the battery packs will place the weight of each bike at or below 50 lbs each, the Hollywood Racks # HR1400Z-FB would work great for you. This rack would be your best bet, as we don't have a 4 e-bike rack that accommodates fat tire bikes with a higher weight capacity.

As for the wheel hoops, you're correct, the # HR1400Z comes with narrower wheel hoops. We kit rack here by adding Hollywood Rack's fat bike wheel hoops which is why you didn't see that offered on the Hollywood Racks website. The wheel hoops we add will accommodate tires up to 5 inches in width, as stated in our product description, so your 4 inch wide tires will fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare.
