The flush design keeps the WingBar Edge crossbars tight to the roofline for a clean, from-the-factory style. Nothing extends past the feet, so the setup looks sleek and integrated instead of bulky. The complete system includes 2 WingBar Edge crossbars, 4 Edge Flush Rail feet, and a custom fit kit, all designed to mount securely to flush rails on your roof.
Driving with roof bars can create wind noise, but these aerodynamic aluminum crossbars are built to keep it down. The split rubber strips in the top channels help reduce wind noise and vibration while you’re driving. They also make it easy to slide accessories into place without trimming or cutting, keeping installation simple and clean.
Whether you’re hauling a bike rack, watersport carriers, snow gear, or a cargo box, these aero-style bars handle it all. They work with both channel-mount and clamp-on attachments, giving you flexibility for whatever adventure is next. With a 165-lb weight capacity (always follow your vehicle’s maximum roof load), you’ve got plenty of strength for your gear.
You can add Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately) to secure both the rack and your channel-mounted accessories. It’s an easy way to deter theft when you leave your vehicle parked overnight or at a trailhead. The locks use one key for multiple components, keeping things simple while protecting your investment.

I agree with you that the rack should include the keys however Thule only offers the one lock system separately as part # TH450400 for a 4 pack. They do it this way so that if you have other Thule accessories like a Thule kayak or bike carrier then you can have the option of ordering enough keys to swap them all out to key them the same. For example you can also buy a six part part # TH450600 or an eight pack like part # TH450800.
