If your rig doesn’t have ductwork or you want to add cooling to a stubborn hot spot, this non-ducted system pushes air straight from the rooftop unit into your living space. There’s no complex routing—just a clean install through a standard 14-3/8" × 14-3/8" opening. It’s an easy way to get strong, direct airflow without extra parts or hidden vents.
This setup ships ready to go with an air distribution box, thermostat, and control board included. With fewer pieces to chase down, installation moves faster and there’s no guessing what else you need. The control box mounts right to the template once the AC is in place, making wiring straightforward and secure.
The shroud is made from automotive-grade polymer that shields against wind, rain, and road debris while keeping total weight manageable at 78 lbs. Inside, the system runs on R32 refrigerant that meets 2025 EPA standards and stays efficient for years ahead. It’s a durable, forward-thinking design built to handle travel and changing regulations alike.
This unit is not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier. New R32 refrigerant meets 2025 EPA regulations. Keep the rear of the AC at least 18" away from any obstructions.

Had this unit installed professionally and immediately went in a camping trip. Unit is not working properly. I have been told it is probably a faulty temperature sensor. No one at GE will help me because they will only speak to a technician. Every technician I have called in my area will not work on GE telling me they are a nightmare took in and with.

Unit only ran for 2 months before it quit. Everyone at Etrailer is great, GE RV air conditioners are no good. I have been through 5 in 3 years. I am trying a different brand next.
Happy customer. Box was a little banged up in shipping, but unit arrived undamaged due to good styrofoam padding inside.
circuit board is bad from the factory and got a tech out to diagnose it stephen moore and confirmed the malfunction.
Was a perfect all around transaction. Staring with the support on finding a replacement, shipping was fast, and product was just what I was hoping for. I had such a good experience that I will be going to them first in the future and giving others recommendations to use etrailer.
The sealed package for unit's control box was missing the 3 pin Phoenix Connector which goes to the thermostat. I ended up grabbing one off Amazon with next day delivery and got it connected. From there it currently works great even with the abuse UPS did to the packages. I just hope this GE AC lasts longer than some of the other reviewers or the original GE AC unit that came with my RV (less than a year).
