They're designed to mount beneath your truck bed. And as you can see, they provide the attachment points for the fifth wheel rails. They do have a black powder coat finish on them to resist corrosion. And what's nice with these mounting brackets is they'll provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. So if you see the holes here that are drilled into this mounting bracket, they'll line up with the holes on your vehicle's frame, which will minimize the amount of drilling that's required, which, in turn, will cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits.
