Does Furrion Chill Cube Thermostat Run Off of 12V or 110/120V Power for Furnace Operation?
Updated 10/09/2025 | Published 10/07/2025 >
Question:
Does the thermostat require shore power or generator power to function? Even if I am only using it for the propane furnace, where 110 isnt required?

Hey Matt, thanks for reaching out!
The Thermostat for Furrion Chill Cube Ducted RV Air Conditioners # LC74DX is normally powered by 12V power - so your battery bank. Your shore power or generator power will provide 110V power which is what the AC itself will connect to.
If you check out the clip from the Chill Cube instructions, you'll see that it looks like you only need to make 1 wire connection for the wall thermostat to operate if you're only using it for the furnace function.

What does the "desired ceiling controller" mean? And where does that wire connect to? I have: - Furrion Chill Cube - Ducted AC Unit - Furrion Thermostat for Chill Cube (Single Zone) - Dometic propane furnace (Model DFMD30121) The back of the thermostat accepts 6 wires: 4 for the Chill Cube and 2 for the Furnace. At the location of the ADB, there are TWO wires labeled "Furnace" and they connect to two blue wires on the furnace that say "Thermostat". On my previous AC Unit, those wires plugged into the ADB. The Chill Cube ADB doesn't have a furnace wire connection (that I could see).
