Question:
I have currently 3 a/c units on 5th wheel and they are fully ducted systems. The air to cool is ducted and the return air is ducted as well. I dont have the large square on ceiling. Would this unit work with out the large ceiling mount distribution box and use my return air vents?

Hey Jeremy, thanks for reaching out!
It looks like Furrion offers this in a variety of options. The Kit # FR49TD you're talking about includes the plenum, so you'll just need to add the Thermostat # LC74DX and you'll be good to go!
Some things to keep in mind are that these aren't compatible to work together as 1 unit so you'll need a thermostat for each unit, and then there will need to be some direct wiring done so if this isn't something you've done before or are comfortable with, you'll need to have a professional do the installation for you.

Jon G Sorry to highjack this thread but I also have a 5th wheel with the Coleman whisper setup without an ADB. You mentioned these will work without the Furrion ADB if you directly wire it ? Can you elaborate more on that please ? It appears the thermostat harness plugs directly into the control box and that only comes with the ADB. Would you have to find another 12vdc source to provide power for the thermostat as that usually comes from the control box ? I considered buying the ADB just for the control box to make it work? I called Lippert technician support and was told it will not work without the ADB.

Yes they all have a separate thermostat now , it’s just the duct work. Each one now will cycle on and off separately. I basically think I need 3 units and 3 thermostats , and where they just mount on the roof and blow into my duct work.
