Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer gas strut. So this is a gas strut support arm, if you will, that you see holding things up like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. So its main job is to make opening and closing smoother and safer. This is built to last.
It has a durable black finish on it. And retrieving my tape measure here, measuring center of socket, the center of socket, you can see, the length is 10 inches. And this is going to give you about 20 pounds of lifting force, which is gonna help take some of the weight off when you lift something like a cargo door, a bed platform, entry door, whatever you need this for. Instead of slamming shut, the strut's gonna control the movement, so it's gonna open easily and close in a more controlled way. This does not include any hardware, so this will reuse your current ball studs.
