Can Furrion Chill HE Heat Strip be Used in Multi Zone Setup
Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/25/2024 >
Question:
I am looking to upgrade my two RV A/C units with the Furrion Chill HEs and I would like to make it a multi-zone setup with a heat strip. I understand the part numbers for the single and multi-zone controllers are different. Will this heat strip controller allow me to use my system as a multi-zone? The installation manual includes a table on how to set up the DIP switches and shows that the first two switches control which zone it is. However, I wasnt able to physically see the DIP switches in the listing pictures.

Hey Chris, the control module of the head strip add on part # FR63PR that you referenced does have dip switches that allow you to assign it to a specific zone when used in a multi zone Furrion Chill HE setup so it will work great for you in that regard. We don't have any pictures that show the dip switches but that's our fault for not taking better pictures.

Hey Chris, how did things go with the heat strip add-on for your Furrion Chill HE setup? Did the dip switches make it easy to assign each unit to its zone? Your update could make it easier for others planning a multi-zone upgrade.
