need a direct replacement for a Dometic 541816A711C0 its a ducted 15000btu

Hey Roger, thanks for the information. To replace your Dometic 541816A711 ac unit you'll need to replace the entire system. None of the newer units are compatible with the older Dometic air boxes. Additionally, if you find one that has the same connector the pin functions are going to be different and you'll void the warranty on your brand new AC unit.

I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV62SR this is a 15,000 btu ducted system. It includes a air box, AC unit, start capacitor, and thermostat. You can add a heat-strip with item # ADV34QR.

Please note that the Advent Air systems have the new R32 refrigerant, which meets the 2025 EPA regulations. They are more efficient but are not backwards compatible with any existing system.

Does your Dometic system have a furnace or a thermostat?

I purchased a dometic fresh jet 3 15000 btu it is supposed to be a direct replacement Will it work or not Thanks roger

@RogerC We do not carry the Dometic FreshJet 3 Series but it looks like it's backwards compatible, so that's a positive. You'd want to reach out to Dometic for compatibility questions on your current setup. Where did you get it and what did they say about it being compatible?
