Question:

Will this fit my 2024 BMW X6 XDrive40i with M Sport brake package? It is not an M model M60i. Or do I need the Oris TS86VR? I do not need to tow anything - I just need a 2inch removable receiver for a bike rack and I want it to be invisible when the receiver is detached.

Hey Brian!

You're right, the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH89VR that you were looking at will not fit your 2024 BMW X6 XDrive40i. The Oris Trailer Hitch # TS86VR is the one that is confirmed to fit your car. The hitch has a removable 2" receiver to keep the factory look on your X6 and it'll carry up to 500 lbs of tongue weight when installed, so the bikes and bike rack will hold steady with no problem.

If your bikes and bike rack cover your taillights and/or license plate, you'll want to also have a wiring harness and plate mounting kit to address that. You can use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 to tap into your vehicle's taillight and brake light circuits, a Yakima PlateMate License Plate Holder # Y02713 for your license plate, and Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 for your turn signals and brake lights.
