Question:

Does this rack bike fit BMW x7 m40i? The capacity says 3 bikes 35 Lb. each. Can I put one bike weighing 55 Lb on it?

Hey Vinodh, I have a bike rack solution that will work for your 2024 BMW X7 but there are no trunk racks that fit your vehicle but even if they did none have the capacity for the weight of the bike that you mentioned either.

So instead you'd need a trailer hitch like the part # TS86VR so that you can carry a bike rack with a higher weight capacity like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202. This rack is super easy to use and load as it has a ramp that pulls out of it. Overall hitch racks are just better in all ways. Much more secure and there's no contact with the vehicle's painted surfaces. What kind of bikes do you have?

@Vinodh You can't unfortunately. The frame cradles of the rack are each rated for 35 lbs so they would fail on the rack at a weight above that. It is a good question though.
