We carry hitches from two manufacturers, Cequent Performance Products, who manufactures Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite and Curt Manufacturing. I would say that in terms of overall build quality and the quality of the finish, the hitches from both companies are pretty equal.
In terms of choosing a hitch for your 2011 Edge, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75992 or for Edge Sport models, the Draw-Tite # 75728. The Curt Class III, part # C13067 is a bit less expensive, but Curt's warranty requirements stipulate that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 be used with any non trailer load, such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. That's all fine, but many vehicles lack a convenient spot to attach the strap, so I typically recommend the Draw-Tite hitches because they don't require the extra strap.
Because the hitch is mounted under the vehicle and is subject to gravel and road debris getting kicked up into it, any hitch will eventually rust. Once the powder and undercoat of the hitch gets scratched, exposing the metal underneath, corrosion can begin. Examining your hitch every now and then and touching up any rock chips with a quality rust-inhibiting spray paint will ensure you get many years of service from your hitch.
