Great product - arrived as ordered.
Ordered the hitch on a Friday, received it on the following Wednesday. All the pieces parts intact, hitch looked in good shape. Took the MDX and hitch to a shop to have it installed and after 45 minutes and little to no problems the hitch looks great and is ready for use. This is the second Hidden Hitch I have bought, the last for a Mercedes ML350, and it is the only hitch manufacturer I would consider.
This is the second Hidden Hitch I have purchased from etrailer.com. Just like the last time the hitch installed with ease. The videos from etrailer's website made the installation really straight forward. And just like last time etrailer.com had the best price, a lot of customer reviews and excellent customer service, shipping and follow-up.
The Hidden Hitch fits perfectly on my 2013 MDX. I'm fairly certain they make the OEM hitch. I previously owned a 2007 MDX and used another brand that fit horribly (required a sledge hammer to bang it in place).
Etrailer also packages the hitch well so that it arrives undamaged. I have dealt with other venders that just saran wrap the product resulting in a banged up hitch upon delivery.
The Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch Receiver installed flawlessly. It was a perfect fit. The only thing I would suggest for future buyers is to oil and clean the threads on your MDX's weld nuts prior to install. It only took me about one hour to install. I saved hundreds of dollars going this route rather than taking it to the dealer.
I purchased the "Hidden Hitch" Class III receiver for my 2011 Acura MDX. The whole process couldn't have been easier - I ordered the product, it was then delivered on time, as expected.
The installation was a breeze - I had viewed the install video ahead of time and didn't even need to read the directions (except for the torque settings) - Saahh weeeet !!

Opted to choose HH out of the 3 options for my 2012 MDX as some reviews for the other ones mention a tight fit - which made me nervous. A little bit over an hour of installation time, mostly spent on removing the screws, as the videos provided pretty much walked you through what you need to do. The only thing I would've mentioned in the video is that there are two rubber hangers. No need to use a pry bar. If you let the lubricant settle in for a couple of seconds it can be removed by hand. No issues in the actual installation of the hitch. Only removed one heat shield. Used an extension on my ratcheting socket wrench and it was doable. Yes, it would take time due to limited space but not an issue. Needed somebody to slightly screw in the fasteners as I held the hitch up. All in all was a very unfrustrating, all-went-according-to-plan experience. Oh and etrailer is the best, this is the 2nd one I've ordered from them, no complaints there.
Only one issue, the "Hidden Hitch" sticker could've been more of a higher quality. It peeled right off - I would've proudly kept that there for the life of the product. :)

The product installed very easily. It took me about an hour, by myself. If I had noticed there were 6 hanger on my MDX it would have been even faster.
I order on a monday and it arrived on Wednesday. I couldnt beleive it.. I put on on Saturday morning in an hour with help from & year old nephew. The video directions were great. I'll be back!

The hitch went right in. Only had to take off the drivers side heat sheild. Didn't even need to raise the car. Design appears to be very strong and well thought out.
Ordered on Sunday delivered on Thursday installed Thursday night! Package was wexactly how described and installation very easy. Strong solid construction.
The hitch is working as advertised for my '08 MDX. Installation would have been faster if I would have cleaned all the bolt holes prior to trying to screw in the bolts. The bolt holes had rusted so it took quite a bit of effort to secure the bolts. Once I cleaned bolt holes with WD40 they went right in!
The free shipping came just one day after we ordered. Installation was smooth and took about an hour and a half. The video was a plus! Looks great on the 08 Acura MDX and saved us about $800+ that they wanted us to spend at the dealership. Love etrailer!
This arrived quickly, though the box did not fare as well. It could have used a little extra packaging on the edges. It fit perfectly on my 2012 MDX and took about 45 mins to install. The video was right on point for the install and it looked great, pretty clean when it was all said and done. There is one tough bolt on each side but an 8" extension gets right in there.
The product was ordered on Monday and arrived on Wednesday in spite of the fact that I specified standard free shipping (7-10 days). I installed it by myself, without incident, on Thursday in about an hour, using the video from the website as a guide. I am extremely pleased with the service. As to the product itself, it is sturdy, well built, and fit my MDX perfectly. It has been a pleasure doing business with this company, I recommend them highly.
Product arrived quickly and in great shape. The online installation instructions helped immensively because the included 1 page instructions while detailed don't quite show how to do it but only what to do.
Great hitch! Installation was easy (you don't even need to jack up the MDX). I really appreciated the model-specific videos on YouTube. It gave me alot of confidence before starting the project. Toughest part was getting the rubber hangers off the muffler. My model had one-way clips on the muffler that made it a little more challenging than the video. I was able to slip the hangers around them by wrapping with some teflon tape. A few good tugs and you're on your way!
The video was extremely helpful. Installed myself in my garage with no lifts. Took about 3 hours total. Most of that time was spent screwing and unscrewing the heat shields. Some reviews said that you only had to loosen one side of the exhaust. Ending up doing both sides (like the video said!) and it worked perfectly. Everything mounted to the frame very nicely and secure. I feel very confident in the product.
All parts arrived QUICKLY (gave free upgrade in shipping) and in great condition. I will definitely shop etrailer again!
